- theg3neral, on 01/24/2009, -0/+19lol, awesome, Hull City and Fulham transfer make the front page
- gnews, on 01/23/2009, -0/+13Interview with Hodgson on Bullard: http://www.fulhamfc.com/Club/News/NewsArticles/200 ...
- TalSiach, on 01/23/2009, -1/+13Bullard is a really good player , weird that fullham sold him , he is the club symbol in a way.
- Fishn2, on 01/24/2009, -1/+9No it's about football.
- KingMattus, on 01/23/2009, -1/+8Time for Texas born Clint Dempsey to step up to the mark & show the EPL how its done, he has been playing really well. But Bullard will leave a big hole in the midfield. Come on Fulham!
- ConEEE, on 01/24/2009, -1/+8This is about the oddest story I've ever seen making it to the homepage of Digg. And I'm typing this from Hull, UK.
- furbyboy, on 01/24/2009, -0/+7lol, wtf....my ***** city is mentioned on digg??? hull ftw i guess!
- suprememilo, on 01/24/2009, -0/+7As long as we keep Dempsey.
- Crazymik3, on 01/24/2009, -1/+7We are Fulham, we are Fulham, we are Fulham, FFC,
We are Fulham, Super Fulham, we are Fulham, f*** Chelsea! - xandy1990, on 01/24/2009, -0/+6so you didnt hear the €120 millon offer for Kaka?
- stann65, on 01/24/2009, -0/+6Bullard is a fantastic player. Very surprised Fulham sold him.
No doubt in my mind, Hull City will not be getting relegated this season. - Ramenhood, on 01/24/2009, -0/+6Jimmy is fast.
- goofsr, on 01/24/2009, -0/+6come on you whites!
Clint Dempsey - Don't Tread
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6Di8QT98Zk - uhave2bkidding, on 01/24/2009, -1/+6come on fulham.
no really, come on. - charlesray, on 01/24/2009, -0/+4I would imagine Bullard more or less demanded a move, I can't see any reason why Fulham would willingly let him leave. Hopefully Dempsey will pick up the slack.
- duncanbell, on 01/24/2009, -1/+5It's annoying that the fee is posted in USD when the story itself uses pounds sterling, and both clubs involved are from England...
- mrfanboy, on 01/24/2009, -0/+3Dugg because... why not? Now I'm going to see if I can digg a story about Heskey going to Villa or Mido going to Wigan on loan.
- mmg044, on 01/24/2009, -1/+4I care.
Maybe Fulham can use the money to buy some more Americans like Kljestian or another up-and-comer. - pyg13, on 01/24/2009, -0/+3I would guess they are thinking about the future. He is at the age where he will probably start to decline now in speed and agility (I would not be surprised to see him out of the top flight in less than 5 years.) As an older guy, he is also looking to maximize his income as his competitive playing days are coming to a close. So they are probably thinking a] avoid paying a ton for someone who MAY give you 2-3 good years, and 2] this gives them some cash to get a younger player with a lot of upside. The trick is to be able to judge the young talent correctly.
- kratsnitram, on 01/24/2009, -0/+3This is ***** AWESOME. Come on City!
Good help since the thug Marlon King has been sent packing. Here's to a good second half of the season. - kratsnitram, on 01/24/2009, -0/+3a fellow hull fan on digg? who knew there were two of us.
- pyg13, on 01/24/2009, -0/+3They are not in the same (money) league as the owners of Man City - but none of the teams is exactly poor. Staying in the EPL is worth a LOT of money vs. relegation and the much lower income of the lower league..
- saucy05, on 01/24/2009, -1/+4Weird how this made it to the front page. I don't think the kaka and Mancity £100 million rumors even sniffed the front page.
As i was typing, we just had a small earthquake in los angeles and i shat bricks. - inghamb87, on 01/23/2009, -2/+5Now that they've sold that player imagine how many slaves/employees they could buy!
- inactive, on 01/24/2009, -1/+4well executed transfer, hull city football club
- pyg13, on 01/24/2009, -0/+3I don't know. Where are they? About 6 points above the drop zone?
They lost the last two, the next one is close (on paper) and the one after should be easy ...BUT West Brom will be coming off a probable drubbing of ManU and may well bounce back. I think West Brom just took someone to the cleaners (3-1?) that is pretty well ranked. Of course this depends on those lower than Hull all winning! ;-)
The bottom is packed this season and a few points either way could make a huge difference. - JAFFA, on 01/24/2009, -0/+2Bloody hell! This place is full of Tigers! I didnt think the internet stretched that far north in England! ;-)
- monsieurflibble, on 01/24/2009, -0/+2Here's hoping Villa get done over by the mighty Doncaster Rovers ;-)
- cubedweller, on 01/24/2009, -1/+3This is so disappointing to me - that basically means we have less than a week to replace him. That's not going to be easy. Damarcus Beasley from Rangers perhaps?
- theg3neral, on 01/24/2009, -1/+3I think there was one article about Kaka to Manchester City rumors. But in the end he didn't go!
FORZA MILAN! - coldfusion1970, on 01/24/2009, -0/+2Hey, dont diss the Whites.
Come on the Fulham!!! - coldfusion1970, on 01/24/2009, -0/+1And Murphy and Hangeland.
- coldfusion1970, on 01/24/2009, -0/+1But that deal didnt go through. This one has, so its real news.
- zaffe, on 01/24/2009, -0/+1Such adventurous vocabulary and lyrics
- theg3neral, on 01/24/2009, -1/+2Yes it's about football aka soccer.
- OsmanP, on 02/03/2009, -0/+1According to the player, the club said he has no future at the club, and so if he was looking for a vastly increased contract no wonder the club decided to let him go. What do you expect? He has made limited appearances due to injury and now he wants a bumper contract.
- congcuang, on 01/25/2009, -0/+1In the past he was sharp, fast, skillfull player but now........
http://penaltyshoot.blogspot.com/ - williampbarnes, on 01/24/2009, -0/+1
- mgadalsky, on 02/11/2009, -0/+1Nice indeed. I'm not impressed. Butt dugg it for some reason. http://drinkster.info
- uhave2bkidding, on 01/24/2009, -0/+1The only PL game I've been to was to see my beloved Magpies play Fulham at the Cottage. Dempsey was one of a few Americans on the Fulham squad at the time, and after Christian McBride scored, the fans chanted "U.S.A! U.S.A! U.S.A!"
- yooaadrian, on 01/31/2009, -0/+1I don't get it.... for the first time in the past 3 seasons Fulham is actually doing good (doesn't seem to be the usual weekly fear of relegation) so they trade off one of their top players??
- dahokolomoki, on 01/24/2009, -4/+4Puzzled why this makes the front page at 2am UK time. Surely there can't be that many Americans interested in "football" enough to care about a small transfer....
- coldfusion1970, on 01/24/2009, -2/+1David Beckham FTW!!!
- bigtone, on 01/24/2009, -1/+0How the hell did this make the front page!
P.S. Hartlepool 0 West Ham 3 - Kronich, on 01/24/2009, -4/+2US$6.8m for one soccer player... what credit crunch???
- anonymous1986, on 01/24/2009, -5/+3How the ***** did this get to the front page? At least if it was a half-decent player, or a club worth mentioning (I mean seriously Bullard, Fulham).
Oh wait answered my own question - power user. - naomicamp, on 01/24/2009, -3/+0Highlights at http://www.lverpl.co.cc , new video search
- rft3rd, on 01/24/2009, -9/+2Uhhhhhhhh what the hell?
