Now, obviously this advert isn't proof of his acceleration (because I personally believe it's fake). I mean he practically navigates the pitch untouched just cause he has such good vision. Midfielders tend to hold the ball and distribute it like a point guard so he is doing much of what he is expected to do... even in these clips you see him drawing a 2nd/3rd defender to himself and passing to the open teammate... how is that a ball hog? and how exactly would one go about cherry picking in a sport with offsides??

And especially against Barcelona, Messi completely outclassed him.
Ronaldo scores a lot against weaker teams, that's it. He is a good player but I too agree that he is overrated, just look at the Euro 2008, no one even noticed him, I guess not having his top class ManUtd teammates by his side and facing harder national squadas made all things harder for him.

I'm a Chelsea fan but am honest to recognize talent when I see it. Yes he does dive, but many times his pace is so fast that any touch throws him off balance. Just look at hockey, a guy flying at top speed towards a stationary defensive player; a slight nudge and the player is on his ass. And then there are those of you saying he isn't anything in comparison to Zidane, Henry and the fat Ronaldo... but he is only 23!
Oh, and for those saying he is a money hungry kid... thats hilarious. Do you know how much money Man United generates because of him alone. They would not have won the Premier League or Champions League without him, PERIOD! The second he has a bad game, people jump all over him... Messi better? What the ***** has he done? He is amazing, but don't compare him to Ronaldo... at least not yet. What did his team win this year? Thats right, NOTHING. Yeah Ronaldo missed a penalty in the final, but the wouldn't have gone to the penalty shots if HE hadn't scored... forget that point?
