- aralls, on 11/16/2009, -12/+204"horrifically embarrassing?" that's about the least amount of owneage possible in that situation
- Nintendesert, on 11/16/2009, -7/+150How was that ownage? The chances to block a penalty kick are extremely low. He was mocking either the call to award the kick or the guy kicking it. Either way, a goalie even stopping a penalty kick isn't a high moment for a goalie, but rather a terrible screwup for the striker.
- BeUnimpressed, on 11/16/2009, -2/+97Oooooohh.... funny. But mildly disappointing. I was really hoping the ball would smack him in the junk mid-cartwheel.
Wishful thinking I suppose... - Rudymoman, on 11/16/2009, -5/+79Gooooooooooooooooal!
- Floobins, on 11/16/2009, -3/+67"Soccer" comes from Association Football and was coined in England to distinguish it from Rugby Football which is now just called Rugby.

Another Englishman. - albionlegend, on 11/16/2009, -22/+74It's spelled F-o-o-t-b-a-l-l,

Cheerio. - mejf2loy, on 11/16/2009, -3/+39http://www.hulu.com/watch/31511/the-simpsons-socce ...
The baseball commentary is the best though:
the windup and a 2-2 pitch. Oh, no, wait a minute, the batter is calling for time. Looks like he’s going to get himself a new bat. And now there's a beach ball on the field, and the balls boys are discussing which one of them’s going to go get it.
Homer: I never realized how boring this game is. - PhoenixSmasher, on 11/16/2009, -2/+31OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
- Hrodrik, on 11/16/2009, -9/+36Well, he IS a soccer goalie.
Football goalkeepers don't do this stuff. - ekorth, on 11/16/2009, -1/+26holds it, holds it, HOLDS IT!
- WELLDOITLIVE, on 11/16/2009, -2/+24Wow you must be awesome at it
- outlawstar13, on 11/16/2009, -6/+2695% of the world disagrees.
- VargVikernes, on 11/16/2009, -6/+25No, the chances are higher now than ever. It depends on a goalie of course, but a shot at someone like Buffon is about 50/50 chance of him blocking.
And the goalie was being a dick, the referee even had to wait for him to stop fooling around so he can blow the whistle. He got owned, fair and square. - winry, on 11/16/2009, -0/+19What about the dudek dance? they won a champions league with that

- holychicken, on 11/16/2009, -1/+17Agreed. I was like "how is scoring on a penalty kick ownage."
Really, it is a huge stretch to even call what the goalie did "taunting." Most goalies know that they are most likely not going to stop a penalty kick. Maybe he was trying to psyche him out, but i wouldn't call that taunting.
And he wouldn't play for the team again? WTF is that? Nonsense. - givemesnow, on 11/16/2009, -1/+16Would have been a better reference if you didn't self validate it.
- albionlegend, on 11/16/2009, -0/+15Ah touché!
- schrankage, on 11/16/2009, -1/+16i'm glad the blogger posted those 3 full paragraphs explaining the video. otherwise i'd have been totally confused.
- Firestone13, on 11/16/2009, -2/+17AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa
- FK0123, on 11/16/2009, -1/+14No one commenting here watched the whole shootout video did they? It was a penalty shootout and apparently that's his pre-shot routine. The other keeper had a stupid thing he did before each shot too (yes, not as stupid, but still...). Either way, the cart-wheeling idiot still blocked a couple of the kicks so I'd say he was doing a pretty good job.
- IllBeBack, on 11/16/2009, -6/+18BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSS!
Oh that's right, I spelled GOOBERS! :-) - ElysianGold, on 11/16/2009, -2/+13Meg.
- BeShirtHappy, on 11/16/2009, -5/+15Take that!!!
- roxgod666, on 11/16/2009, -3/+13The Colts and Patriots are two great pro teams with a deep rivalry and you compared them to ***** Notre Dame and St. Johns? No ***** there is no comparison, wtf is wrong with you? Try having Barcelona vs Real Madrid or something of the sort. You also most likely also know ***** about soccer which makes it that much harder to enjoy it for you.
- RoroCo, on 11/16/2009, -0/+10I am married to a Peruvian... And I know from watching the games... I doubt there is a record of any Peruvian saying Gooooool. They never score.
- jessemoya, on 11/16/2009, -1/+11I read somewhere that it was a shootout and not a PK...
- SAKevin, on 11/16/2009, -3/+12Meep!
- davidsimon, on 11/16/2009, -0/+9Also, did he need to give us a play by play on the entire video before we saw it?
- asus3000, on 11/16/2009, -0/+9I bet you never thought you'd say that.
- verynegative, on 11/16/2009, -1/+9Lighten up, its about the mocking, not the scoring.
- tgc1, on 11/16/2009, -0/+8That's what I was thinking as well.
- IllBeBack, on 11/16/2009, -8/+15Shut up.
- fr1234, on 11/16/2009, -0/+7Why'd this get buried? S/He's asking a question.
The keeper can't leave the line until the ball has been struck - InMSWeAntitrust, on 11/16/2009, -0/+7SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

http://rorr.im/digg.com/soccer/cartwheeling_soccer ... - albionlegend, on 11/16/2009, -1/+7Because they speak a different languange?
- junkfoodjoe, on 11/16/2009, -0/+5It's not that he was owned, it's how he was mocked.
- breadfred, on 11/16/2009, -1/+6comment fail?
- umitseric, on 11/16/2009, -0/+5you're supposed to guess before hand where the ball is going and dive for it. there isnt much time to make an educated guess.
- DMoney16, on 11/16/2009, -0/+5If you watch the full video, he does the cartwheels against another kicker and stops him, so this video isn't totally fair.
- Vindexus, on 11/16/2009, -2/+7Who cares?
- Caegn, on 11/16/2009, -2/+6I don't know much about soccer. Does the goaltender have to stay on the line like that? I watch hockey, and all I could think was how he should have come out and cut down the angle.
