- jackklein, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0liverpool, in many ways, an ordinary side are up against the best coached team, who have, in addition, complete sang-froid, thanks to eeg biofeedback. its all over but the celebrating. all performance is enhanced by neurofeedback. an intriguing fillip to top flight sports story

- gordonnathan, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Fantastic. Science using electronics to get in the zone. Look forward to hearing more about EEG and high level sports.
- thalier, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0I have heard of EEG Biofeedback for ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) but this is way more impressive.
- jackklein, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0real neat. I wish I had thought of it. eeg biofeedback will change the history of sport
- jaihu, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0I just took a course on human motivation and sports psychology and they talked about how at the olympic level, specific atheletes get targeted for "mental training". When an athlete performs significantly better in a practice setting compared to when under the pressures of real competition, sports psychologists intervene, often successfully. I'd say pro soccer is probably the second most competitive thing to the olympics... only a matter of time before it floods down to the kids. Is it gonna be too much pressure? They shouldn't do to sports what they've already done to academia. No one learns for fun anymore, at least let us PLAY for fun.... damn! But it IS worth it to see AC Milan rub the net.
