The government is over-stepping it's own guidelines, and it's doing it in the name of "defense." I can't say that I don't agree with them, and I feel their intentions are in the right place, it's just an overwhelming, and pointless endeavor. The funds being spent on this would be better spent on gear and supplies for enforcement agencies...possibly allowing them to be better prepared for impending future terrorist attacks.
