- CB810, on 06/15/2009, -0/+20If there is one thing I didn't need in college, it was Viagra. But porn would have been appreciated.
- inactive, on 06/15/2009, -1/+11Too bad the reporter didn't go into any details. If these sites suffered the same SQL injection attacks the public sector dealt with over 12 months ago, we could all have a hearty LOL.
- Peachi, on 06/15/2009, -2/+12None of the government websites are conscious about security.
- p0ps, on 06/15/2009, -0/+9Maybe the spammers can just give kick-backs to the schools and gov. agencies involved and everyone could be happy. ;-)
- dty2010, on 06/16/2009, -0/+6If they are still trying to sell porn I can see why they might resort to doing stuff like this. Who still buys porn?
- StigNordas, on 06/15/2009, -0/+6Poor ad targeting: Most students don't need Viagra.
- stutimandal, on 06/15/2009, -1/+7Yes, agreed, but why are there no serious laws against hackers for these type of crimes, which act as deterrent? I am sure the sellers left a trace of where they sell the product.
- lear, on 06/15/2009, -0/+4people still buy that stuff? give it a rest. what about extenze and cialis? is viagra the only pill being made? and as far as pr0n is concerned, there is too much free stuff out there to be buying into online subscriptions.
- BenBenMan, on 06/16/2009, -0/+3I like how the stock photo they used is a guy opening a password-protected Excel spreadsheet.
- Rivetgeek, on 06/16/2009, -0/+2extenze is a sugar pill dude. Theres a reason the FDA sued the ***** out of them.
- donalddugg, on 06/15/2009, -0/+2Nothing new for government officials. They got used to such things long ago.
- FlyingCaveman, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1...but hey check out this cool new toolbar.
- Tarkaan, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1Yes, but to the right of the porn and down two shelves are the penis enlargement pills, and hey, what primary school student doesn't want to "Attack her tonight with your turgid m3mber!!"
- waisosrs, on 06/16/2009, -1/+2buried for being a *****.
- inactive, on 06/18/2009, -0/+1"hackers exploiting loopholes in badly designed software."
Badly designed software= Windows.
So why don't they just say Windows? - ChrisTek, on 06/17/2009, -0/+1The public sector /is/ the government.
- TyIzaeL, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1Looks like I'll actually have a reason to be visiting those sites now.
- AraleNorimaki, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1Oh, by the way, Dad, they made me scrub all the toilets with a toothbrush, so I borrowed yours.
- Weekapaugr00ve, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1I have been recieving this crap for about a week now from my college email...
- ShAuNiEcHuLo, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1makes you really wonder what the goal of the modern day "hacker" really is...
- Rivetgeek, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1$$$$
- Rivetgeek, on 06/16/2009, -1/+1Most of these are either automated blind sql injection or automated RFI hits. A site i run gets around 20 RFI hits a day.
- aqrilik, on 06/16/2009, -1/+1Foreign countries (which these attacks are commonly coming from) have no laws regarding this sort of thing. Hackers who make money off "greedy" americans are often praised in their home towns.
- bloodybenny, on 06/16/2009, -0/+0Not only brain-dead ignorant of it, but flaunting of it. Last job I had was with a government institution: upon checking out their system I said "WTF You've been hacked and can be hacked again!" and received the response "We're aware."
- MrViklund, on 06/16/2009, -1/+1Nice :)
- maverex, on 06/16/2009, -2/+1haha I read this as Hacked to Sell Vagina and Porn
- Chizzachong, on 06/16/2009, -1/+0ive had it happen to my sites - they entered a script into a form
then it virally attacks every folder called [images] in my webspace - ended up having to delete 23 websites and start again - - its a php script - has .htaccess and linkinator.php as 2 of the files
chizzachong - xsnipuhx, on 06/16/2009, -7/+1Kids gotta learn this stuff some day, but buried for common knowledge
- raphaeltmnt, on 06/15/2009, -10/+1I got Digg #100. Sweet!

What is Digg?
