They also bring a large amount of money in to Sweden (meaning a large amount of taxes going to the government). So it is in the Swedish governments best interest to not shut down TPB

TL's Rule of only letting certain people upload files is a blessing and a curse. It is nice because all files are great quality but sux because they dont have a large variety of torrents that TPB has. (Demonoid was best of both worlds Lots of good seeders and tones of hard to find files.)
