- bramblequest, on 10/12/2007, -4/+15Who'd have guessed? I always knew Tom didn't know how to use the net.
- danakin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Because the majority of Digg wants to see Myspace go down in flames.
- XBackstabberX, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5THIS IS ***** HILARIOUS!!!!
- foohookups311, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3excellent. i deleted that loser from my friends list the first day i was on myspace.
- kcopp87, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Honestly, why do people keep Tom as their friend, anyway? First thing I did when I signed up was delete him off of my account.
- Anthem26, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3who cares...tom isn't my friend anyway...
- TheReport, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yeah thats cause he is a spammer/marketer rather than a Computer Geek
- DarthFredd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"Jesus, Tom, would it have been so hard to invite me to your weddding?"
"Cut me some slack man, I had to cut down the guest list from 148 million friends, after all."
..
"So you wanna stalk some girls on myspace?" - 2L84ME, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3A nobody.
- sachmanb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2a website created by spammers attacked by spammers.... im lovin it ( see http://digg.com/security/The_Truth_About_MySpace )
- rchan89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2His profile has so many bugs.
http://i11.tinypic.com/2e0i9n5.jpg also notice Beauty and the Beast are apparently two separate movies - jsimonson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Hopefully all the people who just had to have that "myspace layout" that is half transparent or blinks will get their profiles deleted by the hacker.
90 percent of myspace looks like someone swallowed a book of html for dummies and puked on the screen. - iffypop, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Maybe the fact that people still leave Tom personal comments proves that we're not quite ready for the responsibility of Web 2.0?
- bramblequest, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1He must have been too busy kicking it with Murdoch to notice anything was wrong.
- klinellyred, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1thats another reason not to go on myspace
- chubbsdeluxe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, it just kinda reinforces the massive ***** that is the infrastructure of myspace really.
- liquilife, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1agreed very much. It is worth noting none the less that these type of messages and bulletins have quadrupled (or more) in quantity over the past few weeks making the problem of phishing and spam dramatically worse then it was already. There is a new exploit in most of these phishing messages that converts the delete comment link to a link to the virus or spammed website. This means everyone has these comments on their profiles but they can't delete them! Haha!
- breakaway, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Who is this "Tom"?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1once bitten by the myspace bug, the users become zombies. their only remaining purpose in life is to continuously check their bullition boards
- kunjan1029, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2why the ***** is this on the main page?
- blufire613, on 11/16/2007, -0/+0That's obviously not tom. It's very easy to steal his picture and change your display name.
Nice try framing him - zyntax, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I haven't commented on Digg since 1/11/2007. There is no point commenting on Digg anymore.
- mrxsatellite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yes that is for sure toms profile. i was a victim of his bulletin this morning.
- juliocgrajales, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2not that is of any relevance but I canceled my account at myspace after having it for almost 2 years, yesterday
- rAid135, on 10/12/2007, -6/+6umm.... everyone can take that same picture, and make their name tom
this shows nothing... but i still hate myspace - profilepitstop, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Hey, I really don't think that Tom is a spammer. I really believe his account got phished because he wasn't careful enough. Any one of us can be a spammer unless we try to be very vigilant of myspace phishers out there.
- drmessano, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Tom is not your friend.
Probably the biggest irony, amongst the ironies of myspace, is that the "Tom" profile is just a fake friend to welcome you to myspace. Tom's real profile is http://profile.myspace.com/tomanderson and no, he probably won't add you.
I point this out to those with 753 friends on their friends list, who claim "Oh no, I know all those people, and we're cool".
Likely whoever got phished was one of the myspace employees that updates the "Tom" profile, and not Tom himself. Still funny. - sparkmonkeyz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Are you sure that it is tom. On the picture, the name looks more like l om or something. It is missing the top of the T.
- chadillac83, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2it's already long over due... I'm counting the days
- dominasian, on 10/12/2007, -20/+10i don't need another reason not to have a myspace beside they are gay, excuses of a social life
- bbland, on 10/12/2007, -12/+0crap sorry I submitted a duplicate.
- Cyre, on 10/12/2007, -17/+1BURIED for the DUPE it is.
