- groovymarlin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7In another shocking development, blogs are receiving comments that are nothing more than spam! OH MY GAWD!
- Salgat, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Thought you mean't google's blog was hijacked, not google's blog.com's blogs were hijacked.

- howdesign, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Blogs and social bookmarking sites are being used dubiously to promote all sorts of things on the net (including artists and illustrators). While these aren't scams, the number of them and the "fakeness" can be startling, as the article below demonstrates. While nothing new I suppose, it's still something to be aware of.

- fatdog789, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Exactly. It's not just Google's blog software, it's most of Google's platform except GDocs. Mail, AdWords, Adsense, search results, blog, orkut, Gchat...it's all becoming increasingly spam-infested.
Even worse, Google doesn't seem to be doing anything about it. But why should they? Splogs and domain-squatting AdWord farms provided almost 50% of Google's revenue. - thefat, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2original submission
