- stoanhart, on 07/07/2008, -2/+39Boy do I feel safe now. Thank god for that little word there. And thank you Privacy Groups for fighting such noble and useful causes!
- iDoraemon, on 07/09/2008, -2/+32I actually forgot what the classic Google page looks like since I use iGoogle all the time.
*reverts to classic Google page*
Meh, back to iGoogle. - TheWindBlows, on 07/09/2008, -0/+14I hope you know that Firefox uses the I'm feeling luck button everything you type in something that isn't a url.
- picpak, on 07/09/2008, -1/+14First the black dot, now this? Are they trying to mess with our minds here?
- MavRevMatt, on 07/09/2008, -0/+10I doubt it will. Most people I know, non-tech people that is, don't care or pay attention to who has their information and what they put online. They just don't care.
- inactive, on 07/09/2008, -5/+13Next they need to get rid of the useless "I'm Feeling Lucky" button. Let's be honest: nobody uses it.
- newstart, on 07/09/2008, -2/+9because the nerd founder's Sergy and Larry had sex for the first time at the age of 28. They also made there fist million at age 28. Coincidence?
- inactive, on 07/09/2008, -0/+7because 29 would be too damn many.
- lordtyros, on 07/09/2008, -1/+87 GODS RULE THE HEAVENS
TWO PLANES TO EVERY 4 FACES

4 AND 7 IS THE PERFECTION OF 28 - pin0chet, on 07/09/2008, -0/+7I don't have a problem with Google collecting all that data.
What concerns me is that private information may end up in the wrong hands. Neither the government nor Viacom's lawyers should have access to any of Google's records unless there is an extremely compelling reason. Suspicion of copyright infringement doesn't cut it.
Google isn't stupid. Your data is not going to be sold or leaked. Hacking in to Mountain View is probably harder than breaking in to the CIA"s computers.
Sure, Google will use your info to target ads, of course. But the last thing Google wants is for worried users to switch to Yahoo. - baithe, on 07/09/2008, -1/+7I guess they don't want to get carried away and end up like yahoo's homepage...
- surferjoemaui, on 07/08/2008, -1/+7why 28?
- diggit23, on 07/09/2008, -3/+9they still have that pixel in my gmail to answer for
- bromanct, on 07/09/2008, -1/+7OH....MY.......GOD
- AgentAnderson, on 07/09/2008, -0/+5GeoCities: "Our GIFs will blot out the sun!"
- sarixe, on 07/09/2008, -2/+7it had to be said.
- 321george, on 07/07/2008, -4/+9Whilst Google is a company that promotes ideas like "don't be evil" and open source it is scary when you think about how much information they have and I hope this will raise awareness to the average Joe internet user.
- slightlyoffbeat, on 07/09/2008, -0/+5good to know. i do that all the time but never really thought about why it works :)
- gldfshnpcklejar, on 07/09/2008, -1/+5Can someone write a webmonkey script to remove the privacy link and add "Google" back in. Thanks in advance.
- jave8u, on 07/09/2008, -0/+3Off with your head, witch! You check Reddit!
- nbulp, on 07/09/2008, -1/+4It's a cropped screenshot.
- bipolarruledout, on 07/09/2008, -1/+4Only Yours
- cthulhu4prez, on 07/09/2008, -2/+4Does anyone really use Google's homepage anymore? Aren't search bars in the browser (a la firefox's) faster and more convenient than using the homepage?
- rajk0909, on 07/07/2008, -2/+4This is good
- bbatsell, on 07/09/2008, -0/+2...did you read the article?
- bipolarruledout, on 07/09/2008, -0/+2Good thing it's impossible to sniff packets to find out where they came from and where they are going.
- inactive, on 07/09/2008, -1/+2I would have removed "Google" from the "About Google" link instead because the Privacy link is a little out of place.
- layzice, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1Becky look at her butt, it is SOOO big.
- bipolarruledout, on 07/09/2008, -1/+1Trust.... but verify?
- Monkofdoom, on 07/09/2008, -1/+1Yahoo has 28 as well :)
Live has over 50 ! - bipolarruledout, on 07/09/2008, -2/+1I'm feeling lucky: I don't have a clue on how to process information. Choice is scary.
- inactive, on 07/09/2008, -2/+1It's a good thing I torrent everything instead of Youtube so I don't get caught looking at copyrighted material!
- Owwmykneecap, on 07/09/2008, -2/+1They so need a new company motto, the old one doesn't wash anymore.
- crossmr, on 07/09/2008, -3/+1This is old news, and apparently Mrbabyman took that whole not being part of the top 10 cartel thing personally as I seen a fresh new round of spam from him over the last few pages.
- ZeroFeetAbove, on 07/09/2008, -3/+1I use "I'm feeling lucky" all the time when what I'm searching for will be the first result for sure.
- inactive, on 07/09/2008, -5/+3Did anyone else notice the "After" image says "abou" instead of "about"?
- vasu2211, on 07/09/2008, -3/+0What are they going to add in future??
- cran, on 07/09/2008, -5/+2I love saying this: wrong!
It's an every day "Privacy Policy" link ... nothing to look at here.
Move along. - inactive, on 07/09/2008, -12/+2I wonder if MrBabySpam ripped this from Reddit. Buried!
