- dimplemonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I disagree with "ownedbytheman", if you've got the technical chops to accomplish what he did, then he deserves to walk and talk with bravado. The story was great. I wish there were more of him. Afterall, he could be on the other side of the law. Kudos to him and I raise a cup of Starbucks in his honor!
- spamdies, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1normally i detest links to blogs... but this one was a good read.
- securitymonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ownedbytheman - Sorry, I don't think I'm God. I'm just a lowly security monkey working for bananas and coffee.
TheNativeRaver - I dunno, can I write about you? - andyshep, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1this certainly is a good read and will eat some work time. digg it if you read it.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There's some good stuff in the blog. Check out some of the other entries.
- Netpecker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Less editorializing? If I wanted less of a story, I'd pick up a reference manual. I read this stuff to be educated while getting a little entertainment. I give this story 10 bananas.
- ZapWizard, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Long read, but very good.
- thenativeraver, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0What about some drive-by blog-spammer?
- ownedbytheman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I'm simply saying that, while it is an interesting story (that I read from start to finish), there is a happy medium between "diva does security" and a technical manual. I didn't say no editorializing, just that less would add to the tale. You obviously disagree. That's ok too.
- ownedbytheman, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Interesting story but would have been better served with less of the "editorializing" by a security consultant that thinks he is god. I find myself irritated by his attitude and writing style but the content of the story held me anyways.
