- stevenbrown, on 10/02/2008, -2/+27*****, the hackers might be reading my spam. I don't get any other emails :(
- kiwimonk, on 10/02/2008, -0/+15We should all bittorrent our email, since we all get the same spam anyway. It would clear up the tubes.
- kiwimonk, on 10/02/2008, -0/+14I'll check for you, whats your login/pass?

- algaeturd, on 10/02/2008, -4/+10Here's an idea. Make up a really good password and change it on a regular basis. I love how the average person is paranoid of having their email hacked.
REALLY? You think there's someone out there that thinks you're that important that they're going to go digging through your penis enlargement pill mails to dig up some dirt on you?
The average person is too busy to hack your mail. Even if they could. Let's just say nobody's interested and call it a draw. - LeviTheSmith, on 10/02/2008, -0/+4Why do you log into a mates gmail..?
- MetalMissy, on 10/02/2008, -2/+6Pretty awesome. I have finally laid to rest the feeling that my boss's over-monitoring of my computer usage does not extend to this.

You might want to be careful of what you say on the internet, a simple google search gave me enough info to find out who you are. - unusualbob, on 10/02/2008, -0/+4This is old, but I'm glad it exists. I actually requested this feature after I left my account logged in at my gfs house and she went through all my chat and email history without a way for me to stop her.
- mypetridish, on 10/02/2008, -1/+4guys, I log in to a friend's gmail every now and then. the thing is, she's in Asia and I'm in the states. I just wanna know if gmail would alert her if the account is being concurrently accessed in 2 far-apart places suggesting a snooper like me at work.
also, could I delete the records of foreign IPs every time I enter gmail? - kalkin, on 10/02/2008, -0/+3jesus do we really need a tutorial with screenshots to use this feature?

2... - RomeyRome, on 10/02/2008, -2/+5I actually use this if my IP changes & DDNS doesn't update. I always have my mail client running imap at home, so if I'm at work I can pull my home IP this way.

- takeo1775, on 10/02/2008, -0/+2I gave my girlfriend the password to my gmail so she can spy on my online endeavors in return for some trust. Using the activity monitor I know now I'm being checked on every 2 hours...
- nateisablog, on 10/10/2008, -0/+1if you are interested in that, you might want to be careful. You might end up having the same problem as this guy. LOL

- neFariou5, on 10/02/2008, -0/+1Oops
- pikelet, on 10/02/2008, -0/+1I'm probably the most boring person ever. Someone hacked into my gmail account. They were after my Steam account (and for some reason, er, wanted a Myspace account I never accessed?). It does happen to ordinary people, and I never did find out who it was, how they even knew I had a Steam account or let alone who I was.
- brownspank, on 10/03/2008, -0/+1******
- ByteGuerilla, on 10/02/2008, -1/+2This is a very useful feature I stumbled upon the other week at work. I often log into my Google Personalised Homepage on my machine at work, which logs me into my Gmail, so when I get home and think 'Wait, did I log out?' this is a useful way to check, and it allows you to disconnect all other sessions. The personalised homepage stays logged in, but at least no one can get into the mail.
- parkamark, on 10/02/2008, -0/+1I agree with you to an extent, but you obviously missed this story which hit Digg several months ago now: http://www.davidairey.com/google-gmail-security-hi ...
In all seriousness, if hackers have a motive to get one up on you, they will. - svivian, on 10/02/2008, -0/+1and he only blurred the personal information in the pics, isn't is possible to "unblur" it? there was an article on here a while back about it.
- daspacepirate, on 10/02/2008, -0/+1The Internet is not a big truck!

- tjallen, on 10/03/2008, -0/+1I've only been a registered digg member for a year, and I catch myself thinking "older than the..." I feel bad for all you folks who have been here since the get-go. I believe that if it gets dugg again, then enough people haven't seen it yet, or those who have believe it's worth digging again.
- FredFredrickson, on 10/02/2008, -1/+2STFU before I paint flames on you.
- tjallen, on 10/03/2008, -0/+1Sometimes I log in on my parent's computer, then later I think I got hacked...
- rolf, on 10/02/2008, -0/+1I hate changing passwords. Why change it if you have a good one and don't log into every other computer out there?
One thing to make sure: if you forget your password, make sure that the questions it asks will really be something ONLY YOU know. Too often, it's something everyone around you knows (like High School) or can be looked up (where you grew up). - takeo1775, on 10/02/2008, -0/+1I know, but she does forensics.
- AlokKumar, on 10/02/2008, -0/+0cool... another exciting feature that the great company has to offer.
