So, fixed title: "No website can see what I have on MY clipboard" :)
Opera and/or Firefox all the way. - chesterjosiah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This page just uses javascript to paste into the clipboard. They would need to use Ajax to communicate the contents of that paste back to the server. It's totally possible, and still can be done without you knowing it (ie, doesn't require user consent), but I just wanted to point out that your clipboard contents aren't implicitly known to the server in the same way that your IP address and Host Name are.
- gosix, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5What was I doing to have "mannerly" in my Clipboard?
- n00j, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3In IE7 you get a pop-up asking if you would like the site to access the clipboard.
- MrKlaatu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Good tip.
Easy fix. - osbjmg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I'd put money on you pasting it into google to use it as a spellcheck?
- fsapo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2If you use IE, shame on you.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Pretty sad that this still exists all these years and updates later.
- Jammerdelray, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Firefox all the way baby
- MyScreenname, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Agreed.
- bobothn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1and or almost any thing on this list after the words Gecko-based browsers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_web_browsers
- resplence, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I have never heard of issues of this kind before, and I follow security stuff pretty closely.
Anyone also had the feeling that the site just made the life of a rogue, evil webmaster, easier? - Lorian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I was gonna comment that's why I use NoScript, but it seems this little "feature" isn't built into Firefox anyway. Handy.
- lilme, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Actually, this "feature" is available in FF. The difference is that it's turned off by default, and in IE6, it's turned *on* by default.
- lilme, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Right on. The page actually explains just that BTW. :)
- CrookedAsterisk, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Why do you do this? You've submitted the exact same story twice. Just because your story doesn't make front page first try, don't try again; let it die.
Here's the original story:

Reported as duplicate. - lilme, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Right, and the *unfortunate* fact is that IE 6 has something like +- 80% market share right now.
- GnuTzu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Now I know what's visible through the firewall. Thanks.
And, lets through in a plug for Opera.
Also: Can these guys be trusted? Are there any others like this?
