969 Spam?

ghofulpo.com — From my blog: I received a few (spam?) e-mails (to varying e-mail accounts) whose only text is 969. One subject was 57657, and the other was 455. I wonder about the meaning of all this. Is anyone else getting e-mails like this? (Don't bother checking the link...no further info there).

  • qypea, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I got one too. I checked the contents, but there didn't seem to be anything strange there. Looked like a normal plaintext email to me. Strange.

  • theotheragentm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yes. I got one of these too. It makes me think it's a virus, rather than spam. Spam still has an objective of selling something. There's no point to these strange emails.
