yelp.com — Yelp has launched a new JSON-based API for accessing their review and local search database. Yay for cool sites opening up their data! Someone should hook this into cell phones.

  • chadboyda, on 10/10/2007, -3/+0The licensing terms are a little too restrictive for mashups. The fact that you can't mix it with reviews from any other source makes me reluctant to use it. Given the branding requirements for logo, links, etc. I don't see why the need to restrict the mixing of other data sources when one could easily identify and credit yelp for the yelp provided reviews.
