WordPress Widget: XML Powered Costa Rica Weather

rss.cr — I wrote this widget to mentally map out the different steps involved in Ajax controls. This widget pulls a remote XML weather file from GeoNames and renders on the page a weather info screen. Future functionality will be to extend to all locations, and include graphics.

    I’ve added a call to the National Weather Service in Costa Rica to retrieve the live satellite image of the country!
