  • mrand01, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I've used Fuse before...its pretty nice to be able to script animation without all the hard thinking. SWFObject is pretty nice too, I've used it. I don't really agree with the SE|PY recommendation. It's nice in it's own right, but Eclipse + FDT + MTASC is so much nicer...its all integrated, plus you can get Subclipse then and use your SVN repository easily with Flash. I had never heard of those Firefox plugins...they are inredibly useful, especially the one that lets you change your player version. Last...Actionscript Animation is one of the better books to come out on the subject, but its too narrow, it only discusses animation. If you want a good Flash book, try Object-Oriented Actionscript for Flash 8 (Friends of ED) or Actionscript for Flash MX. Just my 3 cents.
