- boxofjack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It was probably taken off the front page because the Finalgear links to illegal content. Digg does this to reduce the chance of outside censorship. This makes sense because a while back Finalgear itself was threatened by the BBC.

- mikehorn, on 11/09/2007, -0/+1First saw Top Gear on discovery channel in the states this past July, and have been downloading the BBC version each week off mininova. Best show ever! The BBC version is much better... the discovery channel version 15mins shorter, censored, and so less funny, plus they loose all the american car jokes.
... and the STIG, hilarious! This show is genius... amazing cinematography, editing...everything. I wish we had quality programming like this in the states.

Well, seeing how we get 15000 to 30000 and sometimes even way more downloads per episode, that's WAAAAY too much bandwidth for "normal" download links. ;) - Viper007Bond, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's PDTV (digital version of standard TV) -- they don't have HDTV in the UK, yet at least. ;)
And we're fine server wise.
