i need to upload a local file on a server to another server via php/ftp..
for instance
script.php and file.jpg are both on one server in the same folder, i need to connect to another server and upload it.

I needed something exactly like the http://digg.com/programming/AJAX_File-Upload_Progress_Script_w_Easy_Install but my hosting does not support CHMODing world writeable and the script wont work. Right now I've tried http://labs.beffa.org/w2box/ but I need the ability to use password protection. Any ideas?
