- deviationer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the first half of the email:
"In the meantime, I hope you'll take a moment to check out another new
show we've just released (links below). It's called "Marcus Hates His
Job". Like "The Scene," we're making the show available to file sharers
for free and with no strings attached. That's where the similarities
end, though. For one thing, Marcus has a sponsor (Sprite) and a budget!
It's an urban comedy that's professionally directed and edited - and
it's available in PSP and other formats. There are great free hip-hop
and alternative rock MP3s available, too, btw!" - bigA, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Dam you beat me to it, I just got the email!
I really enjoy 'The Scene' and hope to see more original content like this on-line. http://www.welcometothescene.com

Yeah, sweet title. That'll really help spread the word. I'm so shocked you don't have more diggs. - clvrmnky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow, Sprite is so hard-core. They dare to be boring!
- mattb5, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You know, I can understand why my lame post doesn't have too many Diggs or comments, but other people have managed to post after me with better descriptions etc. and nobody is digging it. Why?! I think this is kinda huge! They actually have a sponsor! Can this Internet video thing actually make money?
Sorry about the lame description. I haven't posted too many stories. I wanted to get it posted fast. I was just so excited that nobody else had seen it yet. Someone always sees this cool stuff first.
And I posted this before I got the e-mail. I had just checked the site to see if there was anything new from The Scene and saw the link for the new show. - mattb5, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Doh! I'm such an idiot. It did say "from the creators of "The Scene"" I don't know what happend to it.
- NikoInc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is a great show, I really had a couple of jobs almost like this, so I can relate, and the music wasn't bad.

If you like "Marcus" and feel like helping us spread the word, please
submit it to Slashdot.org, Boingboing.net, or Digg.com. We'll give the
first person to successfully post to one of these sites a little guest
spot in The Scene - or in future episodes of "Marcus Hates His Job!"
(“Marcus” is notable because it is the first time a major company, Coca-
Cola, is embracing file sharers. Essentially, they're paying for the
content so that audiences don't have to).
