It took me many, many months to realize that my market is local--months I could have spent calling on local businesses instead of pouring time and money into my website and Google AdWords. If you're doing this, no matter what your new biz, give some thought to the lessons here and learn from someone else's mistakes. Nice, concise article. I wish someone had told me this a year ago!
