- Tobey, on 10/12/2007, -4/+82Wow... after I stop seizing, I think I'm going to find the person who designed that site, and punch them square in the mouth.
- Anpheus, on 10/12/2007, -5/+63This site was designed by the same guy that did the timecube site.
But with more cocaine. - i440, on 10/12/2007, -2/+153On the quality scale, this ranks as "Myspace". At best.

What sort of messages are Digg users sending to the community?
Besides, the actual site is NOT worth 8million+ people looking at it. Maybe 15. - cdahlkvist, on 10/12/2007, -14/+102A rainbow background? But I thought Jesus hated fags? That's what Fred Phelps told me.
- pwill, on 10/12/2007, -11/+48@lordthor: This has nothing to do with Christians. It is just awful design. I'm sure some Jews and Muslims make ***** sites, too.

- Arpowers, on 10/12/2007, -3/+80rainbows, pop ups, religious zealotry.. what don't you guys like about it?
- seventoes, on 10/12/2007, -14/+154Popups? Whats a popup? Oh right, im using firefox.
- PathDaemon, on 10/12/2007, -23/+12Aw, come on... whenever you're sent to a so-called annoying website, you gots to turn of the popup blocker!
- Devz0r, on 10/12/2007, -11/+71Popups? Whats a popup? Oh right, im using Opera.
- Giever, on 10/12/2007, -56/+23Popups? Whats a popup? Oh right, I'm using Internet Explorer.
- Giever, on 10/12/2007, -13/+30I figured I'd get dugg down, but you guys do realize that Internet Explorer SP2 comes with a popup blocker, right? I just tried it and no popups came up. For the record I _do_ use Firefox, but it's silly to praise a browser for a popup blocker when essentially all of them have it.
- Clevinger, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18Don't skip the popups!! You're missing half the fun!
- blacklint, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Popups? Whats a popup? Oh right, im using Lynx.
Yes, we all know that good browsers like Safari have popup blockers ;) - bakagaigin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1It's even better in IE!!! (I had to check).
- khayman, on 10/12/2007, -5/+190Its like a gay parade on acid.
- tw0bit, on 10/12/2007, -18/+35aren't christians anti-gay? and yet they sport the rainbow well....makes sense to me XD
- naz37, on 10/12/2007, -24/+3true, so so true :-)
- chalkboy, on 10/12/2007, -20/+92Actually the rainbow was a sign of God's promise to us way before it was a sign of gay pride.
- Drewboy64, on 10/12/2007, -26/+15lol and it's a religious site. Rainbow background fits in great! THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU! THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU!
- ProximaC, on 10/12/2007, -36/+8God was promising us that it's ok to be gay?
- felchdonkey, on 10/12/2007, -28/+70@chalkboy:
Actually, the rainbow was a sign that sunlight was being refracted by raindrops and dispersed into a visible spectrum.
Although I suppose it could have been something the Flying Spaghetti Monster came up with to show how much he loves us. Hard to decide. - MrObjectional, on 10/12/2007, -5/+35Yeah, Christianity doesn't mean hating gays. Perhaps people have heard of "Do not judge or you too shall be judged"?
- chalkboy, on 10/12/2007, -9/+18"The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth." Genesis 9:16
He promised that he would not flood the earth again.
Don't know why the gay community chose it as their symbol - JohnM5, on 10/12/2007, -4/+50Christians aren't anti gay. Though lots of anti gay people are claim to be christian.
I'm christian, I'm not anti gay. - LocoMan, on 10/12/2007, -12/+8IIRC from religion class in high school (a loong time agi) back in the old testament times, when two tribes stopped a war or something like that, their leaders would take their bows and place them with the string on the ground (like a rainbow) as a sign of peace (a sign that they won't use their bows as weapons against each other anymore), so the raibow was supposed to be signal of peace from god to mankind.
- chalkboy, on 10/12/2007, -26/+8felchdonkey
Just pointing out it was a sign of some thing besides gay pride. I cant help it if you feel so insecure that you have to bash other peoples belief system. - felchdonkey, on 10/12/2007, -9/+18chalkboy -
Don't be such a Flanders. I'm not making fun of your belief system, I'm making fun of YOU.
JohnM5 - great answer. - arkmtech, on 10/12/2007, -12/+7@Chalkboy "Actually the rainbow was a sign of God's promise to us way before it was a sign of gay pride."

- Tawni, on 10/12/2007, -7/+16ok, that was annoying and I won't digg it. no sense in subjecting anyone else to it

- ummagummas08, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16My favorite part is the thing on the top that says 'You are possibly not secure in your personal faith. Trust in God solely through His Son Jesus for the forgiveness of all your sins and the gift of eternal life'
- eatasandwich, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yeah...that part made me think that maybe this is just a stunt. the site has a pop-up to various other religious web sites. Sure it's crap, but it's getting a lot of traffic now isn't it?
If it isn't a sneaky publicity thing, then it should be!
It pays to be really really crap online!

- banderbe, on 10/12/2007, -16/+7My guess is that if that site HAD been a homosexual website you wouldn't see all the derogatory and negative comments in this thread about gays and homosexuality.
But it's cool to bash religion, apparently.
Sad.- ProximaC, on 10/12/2007, -5/+26Homosexuals have better taste and color coordination than to make such a God awful website...
- mathmanjeffy, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1But it's cool to bash _a_ religion, apparently.
Fixed. - felchdonkey, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12It's cool to bash religion? Awesome.
Been waiting to hear if that was cool or not. - benw, on 10/12/2007, -7/+7It's not about "cool" or "bashing", it's about what's true and what's not. Your god-bothering weirdy sicko delusions are not true and not real and I'm not going to apologise for telling you so. Clear?
- mathmanjeffy, on 10/12/2007, -11/+5@benw,
Consider that neither science nor religion will _ever_ explain why the universe exists. Science & religion can battle out the origin of life, the existence of an "afterlife", of a soul, etc... but neither can explain why the universe existed in the first place. "Big Bang" doesn't cut it, why was there matter to create the explosion in the first place? Neither does the existence of Divine Will, how did such a being come to exist? In THIS question, the atheist is as much an expert as the most devout of religious followers.
It becomes increasingly clear: neither natural/universal patterns nor divinity can explain their own origins... without knowledge of true beginnings, how can one proclaim universal truth? Bashing religion for faith is as childish as it is illogical... believing science furnishes "truth" _is_ faith. - Dysl3xicDog, on 10/12/2007, -9/+8You can bash a religion so long as it's not Arabic. Because they will loot and pillage your embassy if you do!
- ksponge, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9Problem with your argument, most atheists do not claim to know the origin of the universe, they just deny whatever flavor of religious ***** most people eat fresh from it's origin. No faith involved. Denial of your misguided an illogical thought process due to leaving out steps to draw a conclusion.
Since you are probably unable to comprehend this due to small mindedness, I will give an example. Spontaneous Generation is the belief that life can be created spontaneously from objects not at all related. Such as placing a rag in a hay pile, leave it, you return days later and may find mice in the rag. Therefore, the religious man's logical thought pattern is to skip to the conclusion that the rag created the mice. He has left out steps in the logical thought process and arrived at a forced conclusion regardless of it's validity. He sees no wrong with this and will fight tooth and nail to defend it. The atheist thought process is obviously different. If you can come to the logical conclusion yourself you may have the ability to break your bonds. - felchdonkey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3banderbe -
Thanks for taking the bait. I can always tell it's going to be fun whenever Christianity gets mentioned on Digg, because I just know some humorless church ladies are going to start getting defensive and quoting scripture at me...

- Sartori, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I dunno...
I found www.meatspin.com to be far more annoying, when someone sent me the link in work. It's NSFW incidentally, so don't click on it unless your boss is OK with you viewing a big spinning *****.
It did however inspire the best website ever, which is www.leekspin.com - so I suppose in the end it was worth something!- ImTheDarkcyde, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1pretty sure leek spin came first, either way they're both from 5 or 6 years ago, and hardly "annoying"

- SellotapeGuy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1You think God would have helped him with his web design skills.
- nagem0, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3What a lovely way to make people with photosensitive epilepsy to leave Jesus. I'm not being mean or anything, I have epilepsy too - it's not photosensitive, though. I remember this kid sent one of my friends who was photosensitive and she had a seizure. She would get back and forget about it and click the link again, causing another seizure. It was horrible. The site so reminds me of http://www.seizurerobots.com (don't click if you have this kind of epilepsy that I'm talking about).
