Man.. this language is truly meant for the interwebs, eh? - Latka, on 10/11/2007, -0/+90You stop it with KTHXBYE
- ferric84, on 10/11/2007, -5/+73this is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time... I can't believe it has an interpretor.. lol
- imacashew, on 10/11/2007, -7/+71everyone please digg me down for lauging at that
- hello2usir, on 10/11/2007, -23/+86My sentiments exactly. But as I LOL'd, I also wondered about the author's apparent desire to legitimize Lolcode and turn it into a "real, feasible computing language"
There is nothing about Lolcode that separates it from any other language aside from the use of amusing keywords; a feat which can easily be emulated with a good macro assembler. Regardless, there is a lot missing and it would have quite a long way to go before it would even be considered useful. Let's just leave it where it is right now -- a joke. Don't run it into the ground because after it's lost the funny, it will have lost all value. - unusualbob, on 10/11/2007, -4/+61CAN HAS STOP?
- maeon3, on 10/11/2007, -3/+59IM IN YR LOOP INCREMETING SUM VARZ

- Ub3rg33k, on 10/11/2007, -7/+57Dear lord, make it stop.
- ziptnf, on 10/11/2007, -0/+50I see what you did there.
- eean, on 10/11/2007, -5/+54Lighten up hello2usir, its just people having fun. It already has a python implementation.
- dcipjr, on 10/11/2007, -3/+50Doesn't work right, though, I keep getting error -1337.
- pixelate, on 10/11/2007, -3/+49WAIT
i'll bugfix it - habbofresh, on 10/11/2007, -3/+49is it can be programming timez now?
- 10001110101, on 10/11/2007, -7/+51Methinks this language would be optimal for virii writing.
- JSorrell, on 10/11/2007, -9/+45Oh my lack-of-God, it's amazing.
I especially love the "IM IN YR LOOP" command. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+38Almost as awesome as ebonicode, which is also another REAL computer language.
http://www.public.iastate.edu/~crb002/prog.html - Massif, on 10/11/2007, -1/+35This language is much better:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitespace_(programming_language) - spindrift, on 10/11/2007, -4/+35"I'm in ur base, killin ur dudez". Screenshot of two guys playing Starcraft, one of them asks where the other is and gets that response. It's elegant in its utter depiction of the n00b - he's getting wasted and has no clue.
4chan turned it into a trillion Caturday photos, which got filtered down to the unwashed masses (housewives on LiveJournal, mainly), and have thus become diluted and cheesy. ("I can has CUTESY FLUFFNESS??! D'AWWWW") - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+28Open Source is about to get a whole lot more painful!
- SteelChicken, on 10/11/2007, -1/+27The felines did. They planned it all along.
The dogs tried to warn us, but everytime they said something we thought they just wanted a doggie treat. - hello2usir, on 10/11/2007, -2/+28I L'dOL?
- AnteChronos, on 10/11/2007, -1/+27"Anyone caught speaking like jarr-jarr should be castrated."
Methinks you're mistaking Shakespearian-era English for Jar-Jar Pidgin. - clark1001, on 10/11/2007, -0/+24You link made me discover another good language:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/***** - SaxxonPike, on 10/11/2007, -2/+24I wouldn't be surprised if message posts from Newgrounds and/or MySpace actually run on this.

No one SHALL, under pain of OSS contribution excommunication and mandatory death penalty, contribute any code to a GPL product in the form of "LOLCODE" as defined by the gratuitous use of "1337 Sp34k" as code tokens. - benjholla, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7This is an interesting project, in the fact that it might actually push more people to learn how compilers work, the best projects are fun projects, not necessarily productive projects.
- Elixir25, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9Codingcat codes. Debuggingcat debugs.
