Introduction To Windows Power Shell (Move Over Bash)

gazeek.com — For years UNIX/Linux administrators have looked down on the windows environment,one of the main reasons being that windows did not have a nice CLI. UNIX has always had sh, bash, ksh which are great shells. Microsoft has now introduced Windows PowerShell (Codename MONAD) a very powerful .NET based shell.

  • C0D3R, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Only Microsoft could develop a new CLI that fulfills the cartoon with the tree and the swing shown as how it was perceived by the developer, manager, sales department, etc.

    Everything from Redmond in the last few years seems designed by a committee that was overruled by another committee and then subject to line item veto by an idiot.
