- jdevalk, on 01/09/2009, -2/+8This one isn't by @danzarrella but by @jdevalk. @danzarrella's plugin is great but JavaScript based, this one does all the processing serverside.
- JoshChris, on 01/09/2009, -2/+7Why weren't you using wordpress already? Seriously.
- jdevalk, on 01/10/2009, -1/+5It queries search.twitter.com with the shorturls for each post, so it finds all tweets that mention your posts. It then retrieves those and inserts them in the database as comments of type tweetback. Because they have a different type, you can choose to either display them in between all other comments, or display them separately, how to do that is explained in the article.
- VanD, on 01/10/2009, -2/+5That's actually pretty fantastic.
- JoshChris, on 01/09/2009, -5/+7This is awesome. Definitely including this on all my wordpress blogs from now on.
- symx, on 01/10/2009, -1/+3not only @danzarella's plugins is javascript based but it also depends on a php script that is not released and for the js to work it needs to call the php script @danzarella's server.
- FuzzyCat, on 01/11/2009, -0/+2Just a word of warning... These tweetbacks get added *without* any confirmation on the wordpress admin side so be prepared for lots of spam. There's also no way to list tweetbacks in the admin comment edition of wp 2.7
- misreto, on 01/10/2009, -2/+4Ahhh man I was reading about this all day yesterday. Didn't think about digging it lol. Good Job MrBabyMan. I am going to implement it on my site today :D
- davidwasman, on 01/10/2009, -2/+3Sorry, but I still don't get the whole twitter thing

- Mike1977, on 01/10/2009, -2/+3Interesting plugin!
Twitter avatar plugin nothing interesing, but this plugin is good. - IamNomad, on 01/10/2009, -1/+2remote calls are asking for trouble.
- godsdead, on 01/10/2009, -2/+3Pretty cool plugin, i might install this, if my blog gets some more traffic!
- DebGeorge, on 10/27/2009, -0/+1Kinda late on the subject but pretty cool plugin. Thanks for sharing.
- Jeffstuff42, on 01/11/2009, -0/+1This is awesome I have been looking for something like this for a while on my blog :)
- zacheos, on 01/14/2009, -0/+1Yep... Too many people using this plugin will ramp up comment spam (which we in the WordPress world have fought hard to eliminate).
- FuzzyCat, on 01/16/2009, -0/+1
That's why I made a diff to incorporate the ability to turn on or off approving them. Http://blog.automated.it/2009/01/12/wordpress-tweetbacking/ - blagodigger, on 09/03/2009, -0/+1Introducing TwitSpammers on your Wordpress blog... more like.
- guardianx, on 01/11/2009, -0/+1Another great plugin by the wordpress master @jdevalk
- valums, on 01/10/2009, -1/+1Oh, thanks a lot.
- danzarrella, on 01/10/2009, -2/+2My version isn't JS based for long. Stay tuned...
- valums, on 01/10/2009, -2/+2Anyone can explain how it works?
- bloodorange, on 01/10/2009, -1/+1Not sure, downloaded it, installed it on my blog, and I know I have comments related to my blog posts on my Twitter account, yet I don't see anything being pulled onto my site. Either it doesn't work, or I just don't know how to use it.
- gcnaddict, on 01/10/2009, -2/+1Bah. We dropped an idea for tweetbacks when we were working on a liveblog system built on Twitter (we have that mechanism up and running minus the tweetbacks).
I feel kinda bad about it now, but oh well. This implementation is far better anyway. - CyberStriker, on 01/10/2009, -9/+6BURIED for MrBabySpam.
***** power users. Get this ***** off the front page. - shawns, on 01/09/2009, -7/+4smart plugin by @danzarrella
- gumballer, on 01/10/2009, -6/+2I concur
