Guarding in JavaScript

thoughtworker.in — After looking at JavaScript programming sessions by Douglas Crockford (here), I couldn't stop but admire JavaScript. There are many many impressive things in JavaScript but one of the eye-catchy thing was guarding operator in JavaScript.
