You an still use the application to interact with classmates and create discussion groups, but not have anything on your profile.

However they had to make a choice between sitting on the back burners with a limited pool of people that could use their site and that they could get advertising money from or open it up to world to become an effective Myspace competitor. Still, those were sweet days.
