An AJAX commenting application using jsolait library
blog.montred.com — Here is a good example of AJAX using jsolait library - a red box that interactively lets you write comments. Particularly interesting are the History feature and the login box.

- ebola, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4Why the heck are there a bazillion posts about AJAX and/or CSS on digg every day? It's not as if may of us here are web site coders/designers.
- diggm0nkey, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2i agree... im somewhat of a coder/web developer... but i come to digg for late breaking news... not css/ajax tutorials and implementations.....

Speak for yourself. There are tons of web designers on Digg. Including me.
This submission is pretty lame though..
- DavidMA, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I imagine that mature, respectable adults will be posting messages. I have grown to trust the online community much more since all of those great Tahoe commercials.
- dfinder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Intersting post.. Now if someone wants to speed up things with JSON, check this out:
Speeding up AJAX with JSON: http://www.developer.com/lang/jscript/article.php/3596836 - KZeni, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It doesn't seem to work with Safari, that's a bit of a let down.
- rYno, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2it's definately eye candy for your cart - not sure if I'd see its use in a busy cart as the server strain would be high.
And again - accessibility with the javascript - hacktheajax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It seems to be very secure. I have seen guys have done pretty well. They have "comments per minute" checks on client as well as server side. Also there seems to be high alert flags.... working on the script.
Nicely done to save the traffic. - m4ktub, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I've seen a similar example that also works with Konqueror.
Anyway, I see more features and eyecandy just here in digg. - vurdalak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What's about drag'n'drop to the shopping cart? :)
