- Ravenlark, on 02/24/2009, -1/+15BREAKING: 80 AJAX Solutions that you won't be reading about today.
- jmandawg, on 02/24/2009, -0/+11Already down... Maybe instead of wasting their time with Ajax, they should spend some time beefing up their web server.
- wanderson, on 02/24/2009, -1/+7Eh, a lot of the samples list don't have anything to do with AJAX and even more of them are things that I really, really hate to see on webpages (unnecessary animations, paradigm-breaking UI techniques, etc. that only make task frustrating, unnecessarily complex, or slow). I think the most effective uses of AJAX and DHTML are when they make accomplishing a task easier or faster, not when they're just used for glitz or show.
- rd1010, on 02/24/2009, -1/+6You can do just about anything you want with AJAX.. so what is the point of this article? If it actually told you a certain way to accomplish each effect that would be good (for example.. for this effect trying using scriptaculous library with "so and so", etc) but just listing off a bunch of AJAX effects isn't very helpful.. when designing a web app I can pretty well tell what would be useful and what wouldn't
- inactive, on 02/23/2009, -1/+4Some excellent scripts here, very useful.
- iatethecake, on 02/24/2009, -1/+4you forgot to mark it as sarcasm...
- larryjr88, on 02/24/2009, -11/+14Tech stuff on Digg? Blasphemy.
This needs more Obama/Weed/Atheism/Lolcats/Piracy/Anti-Bush/Ron Paul - def1, on 02/24/2009, -0/+2Thank you for not naming this "80 AJAX solutions you've never heard of!"
- laser103, on 02/24/2009, -0/+2No, your computer's fine. Google's cache only grabs the text of a page, not anything else.
- jhecht, on 02/26/2009, -0/+1Me too. the yellow kind
- cherouvim, on 03/01/2009, -0/+1"10000 ajax techniques" types of posts are becoming boring.
- Deficitcrew, on 02/24/2009, -0/+1Buried for spelling "useful" wrong.
- Sliver85, on 02/24/2009, -0/+1Try this for a mirror: http://209.85.173.132/search?q=cache:http://delimi ...
- dethtron5000, on 02/24/2009, -0/+1AJAX is great but it's no substitute for good server and code architecture for when you need to handle load. Case in point, this article.
- mbilalbhatti, on 05/01/2009, -0/+1No doubt you rock. Thanks
- mediaspree, on 02/24/2009, -1/+1Which part of Asynchronous Javascript And XML don't you understand?
- nextekcarl, on 02/24/2009, -1/+1LOL, mirror was too slow.

- jhecht, on 02/26/2009, -0/+0Is anyone else getting kind of annoyed with these articles that keep popping up on Digg? It seems like once every month or so there's one of these " # AJAX (Solution|Scripts) (you can't live without| that are useful) "
Ok, we get it, AJAX can do some good things. If you post on Digg you should already know someone else has probably posted THIS EXACT SAME LIST (with few differences) about a month ago.
Just my 2 cents. When AJAX can wipe my ass for me, let me know. Until then, can we please stop these redundant posts? - booyahbitch, on 02/24/2009, -2/+1May be useful, but we will never know...the Java has killed the server!
- hawkeye22, on 02/24/2009, -1/+0Google's Cache isn't loading for me either. Looks like it's just trying to grab the images from the real server. Is my browser doing something wrong?
- Gamertag3, on 02/24/2009, -2/+0Agreed.
