- DeathJux, on 02/19/2008, -0/+13How the hell do Google Maps factor into your typical webmaster's duties?
"Oh, *****, we need to pad the list a little bit." - inactive, on 02/19/2008, -0/+4So when I brush my teeth, am I doing the dentist's dirty work?
I need to either find a new dentist or throw out my toothbrush.... - Lutremi, on 02/19/2008, -0/+3Wth? First he praises Google's work, and then goes on to end it with a statement like "We work for Google and don't get paid"? Seriously? If you want your site to flourish, first, you MAKE it good, and THEN you work for Google. It's not like when you do all these things to work around the engine your supposed to automatically see $$$.
- DeathJux, on 02/19/2008, -0/+2You are incorrect regarding relevancy.

- apons, on 02/19/2008, -0/+0Maybe I've oriented the post more in the consulting field, when you do corporate webpages for clients, it's a good selling point to make the "where we are" section with a nice integration with google maps.

I know this is not the place to ask, but does anybody know of an equivalent for Linux? - toxictonic, on 02/19/2008, -2/+1Only if you get paid to brush your teeth.
- dylandaring, on 02/19/2008, -1/+0Given that over 60% of all searches are done on Google, you might want them to index your stuff if you ever want anyone to find your site.
- inactive, on 02/19/2008, -3/+1I believe I have made my point.
