- Aeroboy, on 07/19/2009, -0/+26Indeed, all the people I know say they would be my friends if only I could impress them with some jQuery.
- AhrenBa, on 07/19/2009, -1/+24Nothing quite like impressing a group of people at a party like bringing out the ole' laptop and showing them a jQuery demo that you whipped up....
- painting, on 07/19/2009, -5/+26does this spell the death of all flash website?
- hsbsitez, on 07/20/2009, -0/+17What friends?
- inkswamp, on 07/20/2009, -1/+14If your friends are impressed with jQuery tricks, you need new friends.
- winry, on 07/20/2009, -0/+12Web designer friends.
- TBBucs, on 07/19/2009, -2/+11jQuery is so awesome.
- PopcornDave, on 07/20/2009, -0/+8That's pretty impressive. Most people would have suffered a concussion or a compression fracture.
- seenxu, on 07/20/2009, -0/+7jquery is the best javascript framework ever.
- inkswamp, on 07/20/2009, -0/+6Web developer friends, however, would get a good chuckle out of it.
- WolfHook, on 07/21/2009, -0/+5Obsessed? I don't think so.
It has a lot of momentum behind it because it has a lot of decent documentation to back it up. Other libraries like MooTools and the likes just seem to spin you in circles when trying to find answers to do things like the provided examples. This I think is what fuels it's success and many Digg posts etc. - Verdanic, on 07/21/2009, -0/+4Nobody I know could care less about anything I do on a computer. *****. -_-
- Verdanic, on 07/21/2009, -0/+4I would say the opposite, when I finish something I jump out of my chair ready to show it off and then realize nobody on my MSN list gives a *****. It's ok, I tell them anyways.

- cawble, on 07/20/2009, -1/+5My friends are not impressed.
- GMEnthusiast, on 07/20/2009, -2/+6If you use jQuery to impress your friends, you are probably an amateur. I, on the other hand, have no desire to impress anybody but my clients.
- keyo, on 07/20/2009, -2/+4Impress fields?! How about impress potential clients.
- motns, on 07/20/2009, -2/+4Is it just me, or are people getting a little obsessed with jQuery? Don't get me wrong, it's a neat library for doing fluid animation and so on, but this is like the 100th article in a few weeks about how to do "Sexy Menus" and stuff... :P
- igutekunst, on 07/21/2009, -1/+3No.
- Discobiscuits, on 07/19/2009, -3/+4Bruce Lee would kick Jackie Chan's ass in a fight.
- EverybodyPanic, on 07/19/2009, -6/+7One day I jumped off a roof top with jQuery to impress my friends. Missed my landing and suffered a commotion. Spent the summer in an hospital bed.
