Ha! That idiot didn't even put "The Internet" on his list. What a tool.

- DaveMN, on 11/26/2008, -2/+9Be thankful if you have a server incapable of being dugg to death.
- NathanielJ, on 11/26/2008, -0/+7Don't forget <marquee> -- it's a godsend.

"What on earth is CSS Edit?"
To put it simply: amazing. - devmode, on 11/26/2008, -0/+5What about boobies?
- replaysMike, on 11/25/2008, -2/+7Certainly aren't thankful for the Web.
- DeathRay2K, on 11/26/2008, -1/+6I'm a web developer who does perfectly well without 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, and without a laptop. None of those things are really all that important.
Standards are what's most important to a web developer, yet they're not even on this list... - falafelkiosken, on 11/26/2008, -0/+4Safari? Whadayatalkinabout? Safari is almost (or in some cases) more standard-compliant than Firefox, 99% of the pages that work in WebKit based browsers work in Firefox
- DOUBLEZER00, on 11/26/2008, -0/+4You need to move CSS waaaaaaaaaaaay up to the top.
- arcane81, on 11/26/2008, -0/+4The laptop is very useful. It is hard to run with a desktop once the client gives you money.
- renanrcarvalho, on 11/26/2008, -0/+41 - A reliable web server that can survive the digg effect.
- SteelFrog, on 11/26/2008, -0/+4Google Cache worked for me. Can't say how reliable it will be in a few minutes/hours though since it still seems to be loading the images:

- Roagie, on 11/26/2008, -0/+4ever hear of the prototype framework and JSON? No need to be scared anymore.
- tgc1, on 11/26/2008, -0/+4What do you use instead I wonder?
- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3CSS = needs big improvement (and I'm not just talking cross browser issues). There is a reason DIV tags have never replaced tables.
- fatekiller, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3CODA !
- Roagie, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3high fructose corn syrup overload
- wilhel1812, on 11/26/2008, -2/+5aaaaaand Coda :)
- bytor4232, on 11/27/2008, -0/+3Dugg for the bonus: Laptops. I agree, my RSI has gone away entirely since I can switch work areas at will. In the summer I'll work outside on my porch, in my garage, in my lazyboy, at my kitchen table, even in the bathroom. I like the nice change of pace once in a while to shake things up. Plus, I love my Acer Gemstone!
- revenz, on 11/28/2008, -0/+315. Coffee?
buried, they just trying to be trendy. i ***** hate coffee - falafelkiosken, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3try google
- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3They're improving...
IE is getting there... one reluctant baby step at a time... I swear tho, its like pulling teeth... - slayersotaku, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3I like the little jab at IE under the CSS section. Irony is that IE is doing exactly what I want on this drop down menu I took a break from while FF is giving me grief.
- ozziek, on 11/26/2008, -0/+316. Paid work considering your client's mates, brothers, nephew "is a whizz with computers" and reckons he can knock something up in half the time using a new language called Nuby on nails
- PecanHead, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2Thank you.

- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2Navigator Gold was my favorite browser.
Do you mean when they ***** up and released Communicator? - WZot, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2You always have TextExpander.:-)
- jaygeeze, on 12/04/2008, -0/+2I am definitely thankful for Firebug - my first million will be donated to the team.
- SmellyGeekBoy, on 11/26/2008, -1/+3TextMate is fine for CSS. What on earth is CSS Edit?
- existentialduck, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2HOW NICE! I love reading about " fIp"...If I was a computer that is...
- wilhel1812, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2You know, you can assign your own shortcut keys in OS X
- captaindigger, on 11/26/2008, -1/+3Drupal.
- ac2u, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2"don't go off and create your own *cough* Microsoft *cough* 'standards', it just creates more problems."
Oh, you mean like XMLHttpRequest?
Nothing wrong with creating new things, the only issue should be with not being compliant with standards set by the w3c. - iankino, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2It's a shame the layout of this site worked poorly for me...the brown part of the background overlapped with the text making some of the text very hard to read and some of the boxes on the side overlapped with the text. Ironic that a site about web design had a poor design for my browser (Firefox 3.0.4 on Mac 10.5)
- pritchypritch, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2Before this thread gets buried 6 feet under, I'd like to thank suckanucka for saying what needed to be said.
