- MadKennyP, on 11/14/2007, -8/+39And, one month prior to 9/11, Bush was handed a Presidential Daily Briefing entitled, "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S." Bush took no action in response to the memo.
- SeethisPass, on 11/14/2007, -8/+38FTA " Early on the morning of 11 September, when Hani Hanjour and his four accomplices left the Valencia Motel on US route 1 on their way to Washington's Dulles airport, they joined the stream of NSA employees heading to work."
How true. - Napoleone, on 11/14/2007, -5/+34FTA: "But in the hour when the need was greatest, it [NSA] failed the country. And it failed not because it did not have enough information, but because it had too much."
Very telling. And yet they keep wanting more and more and more of our private information. This intelligence regime has unamerican aspirations of absolute supremacy. And they're going after it under the guise of national security. - zSlider, on 11/14/2007, -0/+15"You would not notice it unless you knew what to look for. In fact, on most road maps, Fort Meade does not exist."
Really now. I know every time I drive to BWI up 295 in MD I pass by nice big road signs that say "NSA Employees Only" "NSA Deliveries Next Exit". I guess most people don't look up when driving... - Protoss, on 11/14/2007, -0/+11No he meant the clothing store.
- moxley, on 11/15/2007, -3/+12Some people are so stupid.
If you believe the official story of 9/11 - You are one of the people I am talking about.
Some people just cannot believe that some people within our government are corrupt enough to participate in a terrorist attack against their own country. They have no clue; they've never seen the project northwoods documents. This is not an usual practice.
If you buy the official story, then you haven't done much research or reading; there are factual points which cannot be easily dismissed, or dismissed at all without the offical story being 100% discredited.
Some people just don't want to think about it. Counterinteligence has done agreat job at inserting all kinds of wack jobs and wacky conspiracy theories into the mix to discredit the truth movement; but the fact is that all of the unanswered questions are still unanswered. - Bigflexy, on 11/14/2007, -3/+12Wait. weren't the hijackers discovered alive and well in other countries? http://www.welfarestate.com/911/

Many pieces of evidence + conclusion = observational
Two of the hijackers were living with (yes, as in roomates) an FBI informant while getting their flight training.
One of Clinton's anti-terrorist strike forces asked to have several of the terrorists arrested prior to 9/11. This of course was not done.
Bush disolved the Bin Laden task force - tman84, on 11/15/2007, -1/+9it's not an accident those stories about the holograms comes around ever year around 9/11 its something called counterintel. the people who generate those stories are usually intelligence agents and then they let the nutjobs run with it. then when you say you are part of the 911truth movement you are already lumped in with the hologram wackos.

Then Silverstein admits it on PBS.
Transcript: (Larry Silverstein)
"I remember getting a call from the...er...fire department commander,
telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire,
and I said, 'We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it.'
And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse."
Now, the paid propaganda brigade will lie as usual and say that Silverstein was not using a controlled demolition jargon word "pull it", instead he was talking about "pulling the firefighters out of the building." When was the last time you referred to people as it? For example, someone is in the path of a train unconscious, are you going to say "Pull it"? No, you will say "Pull him/her/them".
Interestingly, Silverstein even debunks the debunkers with saying "the fire department commander [said] they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, " stating the fire was too intense to put it out. Now, the fire commander did NOT say "they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, " [[[due to the heavy debris that hit the building and based on that damage, we are unsure we are gonna be able to contain the fire.]]] So this refutes their argument that debris hitting the building on the south side took the building down (and if it did damage it from virtually no evidence (picture photos that NIST doesn't have) it would not collapse symmetrically like it did, but to the side).
When was the last time firefighters have said, we can't contain that fire, so we're not even gonna try. They've fought high rise skyscrapers far worse engulfed in flames, One Meridian Plaza for example, and NOT well it's burning too intense, just pull them out.
Secondly, they will focus that Silverstein never used the word "I" or "We", but "they", as if Silverstein is deflecting guilt (though we know why). Is this mass distraction or what. "I" is understood before Silverstein says the word "might". The debunkers lie and say, "No where did Silverstein say "I" or "We", guess don't think they'll get call on this. Actually he did say we, and before the word "maybe" you can add "I think". For example, for the last time those famous words.
"I remember getting a call from the...er...fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire,
and I said, 'We've had such terrible loss of life, [I think] maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it.' And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse."
Now, if I say the following sentence: Maybe the smartest thing to do is not to play with loaded guns. Would not placing the words "I think" as in [I think] maybe the smartest thing to do is not to play with loaded guns make perfect sense? This would fall under the English rule "I understood". Certainly the We've had such terrible... wouldn't the contraction "we've" include Silverstein as well?

- steve06000, on 11/13/2007, -0/+6What is this, 1789?
- moxley, on 11/14/2007, -0/+6About as stupid as thinking a visit to the NSA (or even being employed there) is going to provide you with all of the insight about every single thing every branch of this organization does. Comportmentalization and porch brethren are the name of the game.
The majority of the people in our intelligence community are honest, hard working Americans - but there are some very dark aspects to these organiations. - toxicityj, on 11/14/2007, -2/+7"I've always wanted to make a Jump To Conclusions game"
- 7fields, on 11/14/2007, -0/+5"outside the gates" is a little misleading. More like 5 miles away. Anyway, there's no relation to how physically close a person is to NSA's grounds with how easily they should be able to locate that person.
- slickmick, on 11/15/2007, -8/+12One of many amazing coincidences you have to believe to accept the official version of 9/11.
- dracostimpy, on 11/15/2007, -2/+6One of the stupidest things I see is the straw man argument of the so-called 9/11 myth debunkers who falsely assume truthers believe that Bush masterminded 9/11. I'd say PNAC, led by Cheney, Wolfowitz, Perle, Kristol, Rumsfeld, Dov "$2 trillion missing from the defense budget reported the day before 9/11 and conveniently forgotten thereafter" Zakheim etc are all quite intellectual and sinister (and well-funded) enough to think up a conspiracy on the scale of 9/11. In fact, their report "Rebuilding America's Defenses" yearned for just such an event.
Bush's only relation to 9/11 is that it was his family connections that the neocons exploited to recruit the Saudi royal family to have their black sheep Osama play the role of Emmanuel Goldstein. Actually, I'm pretty sure Osama really DOES hate America, but since he wasn't ACTUALLY masterminding the 9/11 attack, it was important for the neocons to talk to the bin Laden family and grease them a little in exchange for them backing the official cover story, since blaming Osama would sully the bin Laden family name. Luckily, the bin Ladens signed on in exchange for moving our bases into Iraq to relieve their popular resistance against our air bases in Saudi Arabia and with the promise of all the US-made firepower they'd need to put down any rebellions.
Anyhow, back to the story... so the NEOCONS, not BUSH, masterminded 9/11 to enable them to carry out the agenda they outlined in the aforementioned document. Idiot Bush is just that, an idiot, albeit one with delusions of grandeur from being born into the powerful Bush crime syndicate. All he wanted was revenge on the guy who almost shot his pa, and he got that so he's happy regardless of the outcome of the war. At this point, that's all Cheney's problem to deal with; Bush is too busy clearing brush and bass fishing to worry about such trivial matters. So my argument has nothing to do with Bush's intellect, in fact it grants you that he indeed IS an idiot and perhaps that might have even been a requirement, since an astute guy like Clinton would've seen through the neocons and realized quite swiftly that letting them carry out their mission would turn him into a global pariah at best and most likely a condemned war criminal.
So please, explain to me why it's inconceivable that a handful of well-educated men, holding onto the reigns of power but well-veiled by our chimpanzee Preznit, whose loyalties to America are dubious at best given that almost all of them are self-proclaimed Zionists, many of whom recall vividly the lessons learned from events like the Reichstag fire or the Gulf of Tonkin incident, would conspire to bring about such an event as 9/11? - inactive, on 11/14/2007, -12/+16WTF is this the post ancient stores about 9/11 on digg day or something?
Damn this site sucks so hard now. - GeneralFault, on 11/14/2007, -1/+5Except Kosovo, Afghan operations (which the Republicans called a political distraction from Monica, guess it didn't work), Clinton Administration Counter Terrorism Initiative, Pass the Omnibus Counter-Terrorism Act of 1995, Presidential Directive to rebuild Oklahoma building (wish something was in place of the Twin Towers by now... don't you?), and so on. - fani, on 11/14/2007, -3/+7In other shocking news - the terrorists walked by thousands of people before boarding the planes that they crashed into the WTC. Shocking.... people earlier thought they just appeared out of thin air
- 4degrees, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4/splitting hairs
thats a jump to conclusions _mat_ - edisonoside, on 11/14/2007, -0/+3Just like the Bus bombers in London the hijackers thought that they were part of a government exercises that morning. Like the air traffic controllers who also did not know if the events where real or not. The puzzle is quickly coming together and the big picture is forming.
- evilesttoast, on 11/13/2007, -1/+4Yeah because people are gonna listen to a comment from 911Bldg7
- GeneralFault, on 11/14/2007, -0/+3Considering that the CIA did not determine that Bin Laden had anything to do with much of anything until 1996, and everything that Clinton did do after that was far as the Republicans were concerned, nothing but political distraction (remember "No War for Monica!" protests?); He did quite a bit.

- fixhist, on 11/14/2007, -0/+3OK ! OK !
There is nothing to hide and it is not known,if it was known to famous 16-US agencies, including NSA.
Is there any proof of the hijacking, or who flew planes, What tools were used for such accurate navigation?
Only mention of Box-Cutter tooters was done with reference to two shortcalls from Aircraft Phones. Interestingly the sad information was conveyed to CNN,
How interesting it is to know that, a husband having received a call from Wife,She was supposedly on a hijacked airplane and about to die, Husband calls CNN to mention Box cutters ? ? ?
Nothing confirms, if there were actual Hijacking, Hijackers or terrorists out there on 911? - elninja, on 11/15/2007, -0/+3http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/1559151.stm
- TheSabre, on 11/14/2007, -0/+3It's very annoying when people make a big deal about it. If you're talking about 9/11, the NSA, or the federal government and you say "Washington", there's a good chance you're talking about Washington, D.C. It's not rocket science; just reading comprehension.
- CrazedLeper, on 11/15/2007, -2/+5NO, WE CANNOT LEAVE IT ALONE! THERE IS NO STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS ON MURDER. The problem is not lack of evidence, the problem is that everyone responsible to investigate the evidence and prosecue the trial is in on it.
- dracostimpy, on 11/15/2007, -0/+3"Great" men throughout history have stooped exactly that low over and over again. If you can't accept that, it's because you don't WANT to. It's called cognitive dissonance, which means resistance to accept facts that change one's paradigm. Yeah, it sucks to realize that people we empower to serve us instead use that power to take advantage of and even kill us, but that is a FACT proven time and time again throughout history.
Obviously, most leaders who retain their humanity find such behavior abhorrent, but do you for one second think the current regime in Washington would give two squirts about your life or, for that matter, the lives of a few thousand city slickers, given the long and storied history of hatred between the NY financial center and the Texas oil mongers? Read about it sometime... the only people the oil industry hates more than Wall Streeters are Arabs and dictators like Chavez who won't give them oil for pennies a barrel.
The reason there aren't more assassins out there trying to change our government is because it serves no real purpose to replace a few cogs in a machine that is corrupt by its very nature. What's more, for each head one severs, another will grow back even more fierce than before since that new head will not want to be severed itself. The answer isn't in lone gunmen taking down the government one by one, it's in ALL of us uniting to identify and challenge government corruption through acts of civil disobedience and, most importantly, jury nullification.
When people get busted for acts like shutting down busy roads during peak business hours or other things that draw attention to them, the jury can ignore the stupid ***** "disturbing the peace" law that got them arrested and find them not guilty. Same with other stupid laws against drug possession, prostitution, making bathtub cheese, etc. Jury nullification will teach the cops and courts that peaceful protest is a fundamental right, even if it causes headaches because this "free speech zones" crap is ridiculous. The reason protests work is BECAUSE they interrupt business as usual. I DON'T want to pay my taxes, but I HAVE to until juries start standing up for John Q Public and defending our right to not fund an out-of-control government. Until we the people start sticking up for each other by doing that, we'll continue to get our dicks stomped by the government.
As for Clinton, I said "astute", not "good". I hate him as much as I hate the Bush mob... in fact, the Clintons ARE part of Bushmob if you care to google "Mena Arkansas Bush Clinton" sometime. And now that I think of it, there's a high likelihood that Clinton *tried* to have his own 9/11 with the OKC bombing, but it was badly botched and the public outcry wasn't sufficient enough to throw away the Constitution entirely as Bush did after 9/11. So yes, he IS just as big a tool as anyone else. Again, you're trying to hack away at a straw man by dismissing me as a Clintonite. I think by now you should realize I'm pretty much against government in general regardless of party affiliation, so please attack me as what I really am, an anarcho-capitalist, instead of assuming I'm a democrat. - AWBoy666, on 11/13/2007, -0/+3Holy old article batman!!
Ever since 9/11, the NSA has been much more open and even allowed tours of its buildings at Fort Meade. This article is hardly pertinent over 5 years from when it was written. - roberto_deneero, on 11/14/2007, -2/+5Yea and we have a terrorist living in the Oval Office too. He goes to work daily amongst NSA workers and they have no idea how dangerous he really is.
- MadKennyP, on 11/14/2007, -2/+5How many are the subject of Presidential Daily Briefing handed to the President?
- Moetownslick, on 11/14/2007, -1/+4i think what's even more of a bizarre irony...is the fact that they used the phrase "bizarre irony" to describe it.
