BREAKING: FISA Immunity Bill Pulled! Dodd Wins!
chrisdodd.com — Senator Harry Reid has pulled the FISA bill from consideration tonight. Senator Dodd's threat of a prolonged filibuster has DEFEATED telecom spying immunity for now.

This is good news. Chris Dodd deserves a lot of credit for standing up for the Constitution and standing up to the so-called leadership of the Democratic party to bring this issue to a head. Let's hope the rest of them are listening. Between yesterday's fundraising activity and today's stand from Dodd, maybe both parties will start to take notice. (Probably not, but it's the holidays, let me dream.)

I am thrilled to see that there are still Americans who believe in the principles the founders put into our constitution, and are willing to stand up to the tyranny and fear mongering that the Bush administration has imposed on the American people. It is time to remember that the government exists to serve the people and not the other way around. GO CHRIS DODD, AND THANK YOU!
