- AgeofMastery, on 07/11/2009, -52/+485As the GOP continues to rebrand itself as the party of fanatics.
- inactive, on 07/12/2009, -43/+368Holy *****. This bitch laughs at a 'coon' reference and then says that people who are appalled at her behavior are viciously smearing HER? What? YOU BASICALLY LAUGHED AT A ***** JOKE, YOU STUPID LITTLE *****!!! There's no smearing going on here. You and your racism is the only thing going on here. And of course she wins, because outing yourself in Republican circles as a hateful bigot actually GAINS you votes from those subhumans.
When in the ***** are they just going to waddle this leprosy-riddled elephant out to the fields and put a bullet through its idiot head and be done with it? - jdh24, on 07/11/2009, -21/+309this bitch has got some serious issues with herself.. 38 years old and wanting to be the leader of a young people's group?
- richirwin, on 07/12/2009, -19/+261So here's what I love.
The choice was between Audra Shay, a 38-year old racist and Rachel Hoff.
Rachel Hoff who was found guilty of voter fraud.

I love it when republicans complain about ACORN. - FervinsUlterius, on 07/12/2009, -10/+170I am jack's complete lack of surprise
- martalli, on 07/12/2009, -9/+169Dittop all the comments about racism above, but do the Republicans really consider a 38 year-old a "Young Republican"? Their demographics are pretty bad...
- USArugula, on 07/11/2009, -10/+157Steal the election? From who? Another Republican? Sorry, pal -- she's your racist, your people elected her, deal with it.
- duggtodeath, on 07/12/2009, -16/+140GOP: The party of all-class!
- novenator, on 07/12/2009, -17/+136Meghan McCain is probably the best voice young Republicans have at this point, which is why the party of self destruction is attacking her quite regularly. Not that she is perfect, but she is good enough that she should probably join the Democratic team.
- sheasie, on 07/12/2009, -8/+122Before the election, Meghan McCain urged the group not to choose hate by electing Shay: “What exactly do the Young Republicans expect to achieve by electing a 38-year-old woman who thinks racial epithets are acceptable?”
/welcome to the Democratic Party, Meghan. - DivisibleByZero, on 07/12/2009, -2/+102Evidently "young" Republicans are under 40. Maybe it's a 2 year term?
- cherwilco, on 07/11/2009, -5/+93wow Ann Coulter for an avatar pic. lol troll your making it too obvious
- OrangeBob, on 07/12/2009, -3/+79It could actually be Ann Coulter.
- novenator, on 07/12/2009, -9/+84I find it pathetic that the GOP needs to find a 38 year old to be considered *young*, lol.
- bombula, on 07/12/2009, -3/+75So a 38 year old female Ku Klux Klandidate defeats a felon previously convicted of voter fraud to become head of the Young Republicans...
This is coming off of 8 years where the stupidity and illiteracy of the Republican President was a standing joke across the entire planet while his VP, who vehemently defends human torture, was ridiculed for being more evil than Darth Vader and Dracula combined.
And in the last several years some of the highest members of the GOP - senators and congressmen - who have crusaded for so-called Christan morals have been outed having affairs and cruising airport bathrooms for gay sex.
And you Republicans wonder why we laugh at you? - littlebylittle, on 07/12/2009, -6/+78She sounds like an Ann Coulter protege.
- novenator, on 07/12/2009, -8/+80RightAndProud

I smell a recently banned wingnut coming back to troll once again. Any guesses as to who it is? - TobiasParker, on 07/12/2009, -7/+77Margaret Higgins Sanger Slee (September 14, 1879 – September 6, 1966)

Everyone in that time period was an unapologetic racist. Comparing someone who was 81 during the civil rights movement to someone who wasn't born in 1970 is ridiculous. - martalli, on 07/12/2009, -4/+71So, were the Young Republicans stacked with liberals who voted for Shay just to make the Republicans look bad?
- Junkyarddawg, on 07/12/2009, -12/+78Of course they embrace hate; what else have they got?
- twiztidsinz, on 07/12/2009, -9/+62@Tobias: You're missing one small fact...
The republicans are still living in the 1800's. - Junkyarddawg, on 07/12/2009, -4/+57Who, in their view, also embraces hate.
- Misinformant, on 07/12/2009, -6/+57I'm glad she won. I'm all for the GOP digging its own grave ever deeper.
If they wanna fast-track themselves into obscurity and irrelevance, I'll even volunteer to help. - inactive, on 07/12/2009, -3/+52Jesus?
- geodebug, on 07/12/2009, -3/+52She's the average age for what the GOP considers "young". She's also what the GOP considers a minority, you know, because she has boobs.
- alphacoder, on 07/12/2009, -16/+65The country is really in desperate need of a party that advocates limited spending, limited corporate welfare and strong individual liberties. Most telling is that the Republican party has proven itself too willing to entertain racist speech whether against color, religion, sexual orientation or national origin. Yet, trying all the while to lay claim to a concern for America that stops at their front doors and goes no further.
I would like to know what various college Republican groups are going to say about their new leader? If Pres. Obama had to distance himself from someone like Rev. Wright, then someone laughing - publicly - at hate speech should be just as indictable. Of course we wouldn't want people to think only some types of people should be cross-examined for their comments in positions of power. Ahem. - smacksaw, on 07/12/2009, -8/+54As I just said in a different thread, the GOP is well on it's way to becoming the National Front.
- novenator, on 07/12/2009, -9/+53Of course not, however the GOP conservatives have taken hate to a whole new level. Look at the paranoia they are stoking by falsely claiming Obama is going to take people's guns away. Look at the rhetoric from many in the Tea Parties. Look at the unprecedented rise in right wing terrorism.
There is a line to how far disagreements can go, and the GOP is choosing selfish gain over the good of the country. - GlassAgate, on 07/12/2009, -9/+52What is it with republicans and holding onto ideals that
were the norm half a century ago, and have long been
abandoned? Let's see: racism, views towards homosexuals
and lesbians...am I missing any? I am sure that I am. - lanemik, on 07/12/2009, -1/+43What part of the story is wrong or made up in your opinion?
- inactive, on 07/12/2009, -13/+55The difference is that she's a public figure meant to represent a public and political organization, i.e. other people, and I'm a stay-at-home dad sitting in my apartment on my laptop.
Any other brilliant questions? - bigbadgoat, on 07/12/2009, -8/+46No, you don't have to be loved, or love everyone else. However, choosing a bigot as your representative says a lot about the people they're representing. (i.e. they're bigots too)
//Canadian - watcht, on 07/12/2009, -1/+39she's just trying to be the cool and hip mom..
- CosmicSurfer, on 07/12/2009, -6/+42How is that Flat World?
BEFORE generalizing to "liberals" and before showing us all how closed that brain pan is, why not actually listen to something or read something outside of your comfort zone to see what the REAL world is like...
1. Obama is NOT a liberal, he is a centrist and not on the left side of that Center point but you obviously don't understand what that means,.,.I guess if we are left of Hitler, Cheney, Attila the Hun then we must be raging lunatic leftists.
2. "Calling anyone who questions Obama rascist" _ HELL, we ON the left QUESTION OBAMA! That is WHY we are who we are. We do not merrily follow anyone...We question all establishment, all rigidity and all politicians...That IS what makes us the left - That IS what makes us activists and that is what makes us progressive...Change NEVER stops...Change is not stagnant and change is living, breathing and always morphing. WE do not accept the status quo, we expect constant growth
3. Let's see your back up when you make statements about "liberals spreading hate".... - some PEOPLE who say they are liberal might make some statements that are fairly nasty but your generalization about "liberals spreading hate" is a talking point that is ludicrous...
4. ACORN registering fraudulent voters...(ACORN like in Ohio, 2004, and Florida, 2000,...oh, yeah, that was the GOP not ACORN...my mistake) - that spin has been dealt with. disproven and understood to be old worn out Rovian/Segretti Playbook hype except, it appears, in your head or maybe it just took that long for the synapse but then someone who choses only to believe the accusation and didn't bother to check the facts would...
Some day you might fall off the edge of that flat world...You might want to take your sea monster repellent when you travel - smacksaw, on 07/12/2009, -4/+39Could it be....SATAN????
- twiztidsinz, on 07/12/2009, -9/+42GOP's new home page is www.StormFront.org
- richmomz, on 07/12/2009, -9/+42It's not surprising why the GOP has become so dysfunctional and unattractive to young people - it has completely abandoned the core values of conservatism (small government, personal freedom, low taxes, and non-interventionism). Young people should consider joining Libertarians and other true conservatives in the only real conservative movement in this country. Anyone who's interested can find out more at campaignforliberty.com
- steelersfan7roe, on 07/12/2009, -3/+35 Evolution. Global warming.
- bigbadgoat, on 07/12/2009, -13/+45How is it sexist? Calling a female derogatory terms reserved for a stupid, hate-mongering female is not sexist, since it can't be used to describe all females, only females who act and think a certain way..
Ler me try and explain it to you. "*****" is a derogatory term describing all black people, regardless of attitude and actions in a negative way. By describing a black person as a "*****" means that not only is this person black, but they are automatically a lower form of life because of it.
Meanwhile, the term bitch isn't used to describe all women, just women who constantly nag and ***** on other people. It's the attitiude and personality that makes her a bitch more than the fact that she's female. Same thing with *****. The word is used to describe a woman is a negative person who offends and embarasses anyone around her. She's not a ***** by being a woman alone, she's a ***** because she's a woman AND because of her actions and opinions.
For further clarification, take the word "Nazi". This word isn't used to describe germans, or any one of any race, gender, sex or age, but rather, is used to describe the viewpoints and attitudes a person may hold towards a particular culture and/or their own heritage. That's why Nazi isn't a racial, or sexist slur.
see the difference? - EndAntiSemitism, on 07/12/2009, -2/+32How about not hating everyone else? That's a start
Mind you i'm not surprised you feel this way, especially after some of your previous comments:
""I'm not outraged so according to you I must be a racist because I don't have the same reaction you did. I don't enjoy swimming near blacks either, it's pretty damn disgusting. So I am HONEST, therefore that makes me a racist in your eyes I guess.""

Please just go back to stormfront or something. Ignorance is not welcome here. - mr138, on 07/12/2009, -7/+36So the choice was a racist or someone who committed voter fraud?
Yeah this party is dying. - jitterbits, on 07/12/2009, -3/+32Compared to the rest of the party, she's an infant!
- MalarkeyPN, on 07/12/2009, -11/+40Republicans! Do your part to stop the insanity: become a Libertarian.
- rocknog, on 07/12/2009, -2/+30Back in the day, the Dems were the conservative party and they were racist as all hell. Not sure how it related to today, though.
- gutistg, on 07/12/2009, -1/+29This is how America works now? Guilty until proven not to be a threat to your political party?
Alright. I guess I'll have to go buy a gun and start lining people up.
/s (because I have to in this situation) - whatthefu, on 07/12/2009, -1/+29Are you contending then that you only believe rightist crappy media? Good for you. You sure don't take bias from those god damn liberals, just Republicans.
- twiztidsinz, on 07/12/2009, -3/+31It's them damned liiiiiiiiibbrrul colleges brainwashing the kids to be hippies.
- alais, on 07/12/2009, -2/+29Obama's a Republican?
- brownsound00, on 07/12/2009, -1/+28I'm pretty sure this is the bitch that got elected
- careya, on 07/12/2009, -3/+29Shay's insensitivity to a very basic issue is bad news for the GOP. This sort of attitude may lock in their 'base' but it further marginalizes the GOP as 'conservative whites only'. The GOP is moving to a smaller tent, and our politics will only become more shrill.
