- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -7/+12Let's see a link. You have proven to be too untrustworthy and a little to "free" with the truth to be taken without proof.
Most of us post a link in with data, or include where data came from.
It allows people to judge for themselves. I know you guys don't operate that way, but the rest of the world does. - shinybeast, on 10/11/2007, -3/+8By submitting a link to a blog post that sources from the ultra-partisan "Progressive Review," whose motto is "SINCE 1964, WASHINGTON'S MOST UNOFFICIAL SOURCE"? Yeah, that counts for being "PwN3d." If the Review provided any linkage to source material it would be different, but just taking their word on the numbers is not reliable or sufficient.
- toddcat, on 10/11/2007, -4/+8Ah, a 28%er. Glad you're a great American. You carry water with such style and grace!
- toddcat, on 10/11/2007, -4/+7Only it's not that they don't recall. This is the last refuge of truly despicable political thugs.
- obliviousfool, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5So you're saying that government officials should be "less criminal than the Clinton administration?"
That's the standard?
I think you need to raise that bar up a little.
Come back when you get to "not criminal at all."
Then we'll talk. - obliviousfool, on 10/11/2007, -5/+8The only requirement for working at the justice department appears to be possession of a really bad memory.
These guys remember so little that it is truly amazing they get anything done!
Too bad Rove hasn't complied with his subpoena or we would have some documents to help congress jog these guys' memories. - fotd42, on 10/11/2007, -3/+6Just because you claim those in the Clinton Administration did it, that doesn't make it right. That's probably the stupidest argument I've ever heard and it keeps being perpetuated by the neocons. It's time for this administration and its supporters to start being men and owning up to their mistakes instead of crying "well Clinton did it too!"
- IrishJoe, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4They have GOT to check the water supply at the Justice Department. There’s something in it that makes the DOJ officials forget their illegal activities. Are they getting their water imported from China?
- Dweller99, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4Ahh yes, the "b-b-but Clinton..." defense. A classic.
- rabidgnome, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4They should just charge them with obstruction of justice and put an end to it
- Terr01, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Shouldn't we scale it to denials-per-hour?
- shinybeast, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1They should just change the name from the Department of Justice to the Obstruction of Justice.
- shinybeast, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2Well, according to the bedwetters on Digg we're pretty much doomed to living under Sharia Law so I'd prefer to just have as much fun as possible before my head gets sawed off next Thursday.
- wiggles, on 10/11/2007, -6/+5The problem is, if you say something under oath and it turns out ot be false due to your own faulty memory, you can be prosecuted for perjury (like Scooter Libby). When these people say "I don't recall", they really mean is, "I'm not willing to risk a perjury conviction if I'm wrong."
- appleann1, on 10/11/2007, -7/+6mightydave, a bastion of integrity.
Here's your link.
http://donkeycons.blogspot.com/2006/04/hillary-clinton-amnesiac.html - RuffRidr, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2I don't think appleann1 was insinuating that just because Clinton did it, makes it right. The title of this stupid post is that Scholzman is breaking Gonzalez's record for saying I don't recall. When in reality, that record belongs to Clinton. And its not even close. He's the Godfather of not recalling. He has set a standard non-recollection that will probably never be breached in our lifetime. Sorry take your innaccurate hypocrisy elsewhere.
- Equalizer, on 10/11/2007, -7/+5Looks like Appleann just PwN3d the MightyMinnow
ROFL - appleann1, on 10/11/2007, -13/+8Who holds the record?
