- arizonagrandma, on 02/02/2008, -49/+427It's so sad to me that some are so far gone...so cynical that they cannot see the once in a lifetime opportunity to elect a great, great man as our President. He will inspire the people of this country to stand up and fight for all that we need to restore our democracy. I've waited 40 years - since Bobby Kennedy - to see another person of this caliber as a potential President. Dare to hope!
- jackelsmack, on 02/02/2008, -20/+204This is... the most effective political ad ever made.
I was watching it thinking cynical thoughts about celebrity power and syrupy "We are the world" collaborations, but at the same time I couldn't help being emotionally moved. This puts every other Celebrity Save The Earth project to shame. - madmage, on 02/02/2008, -29/+181My entire family from me, to my parents, brothers, their wives, and even my 88 year old grandmother all say the same thing.
"There's something different about this man." - Reelpolitik, on 02/02/2008, -28/+173Si Se Puede.
- lensa, on 02/02/2008, -27/+169I will say one thing.... this man, has inspired all of us, PLEASE AMERICA WAKE UP AND LET'S MAKE THIS GREAT MAN THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE GREAT USA. we might not get another chance.
- moolcool, on 02/02/2008, -14/+146Did i miss something? I think Obama replaced Ron Paul on digg.
- Brad324, on 02/02/2008, -25/+138Two observations from this video..
1. Obama can't rap.
2. I very much want to bone Scarlett Johanssen - cakemanjb, on 02/02/2008, -19/+124In my lifetime i have never been so moved by another person as i have been moved by Barack Obama. I remember the day that JFK was killed , i was in first grade. They sent us all home , and the entire nation morned and grieved. Barack Obama has a gift that very few people in this world have , the abiltity to heal a Nation and make people feel good about being an AMERICAN. His message is ( WE ARE ONE PEOPLE ) YES WE CAN !
- TaniaDerveaux, on 02/02/2008, -14/+112This is amazing, probably best campaign clip I've ever seen. If this gets seen by a lot of people, the effects'll be huge.
- triggr, on 02/02/2008, -11/+100As an Australian & British citizen, I really do hope that Barack Obama is successful in being elected as the next American President. It would restore my hope and faith in the United States, after spending so many years lost in the wilderness under Bush.
C'MON ALL YOU AMERICANS....GET OUT THERE AND ** VOTE OBAMA! ** - jaiwithani, on 02/02/2008, -16/+102I cried. I dugg.
- PeoplesChoice, on 02/02/2008, -24/+105Oh My God!!!!!!!!!!!!
How could anyone not vote for this man? - Seppi2112, on 02/02/2008, -14/+92So how much does a 5 minute super bowl ad cost? Lol.
- chriscal, on 02/02/2008, -18/+87This is wonderful. What is so great about Obama is that he is simply inspiring people. No one asked will.i.am to do this. Obama's speech moved him. Vote for change.
- drucius, on 02/02/2008, -9/+68Every 20-50 years or so a generation rises up and takes control of this country. We are long overdue, our parents are still electing the same old people to do the same corrupt dance in Washington. Its up to us, the internet generation to take the helm and set a new course for this country.
Vote Obama! - chocolatetacos, on 02/02/2008, -4/+62Plus, how do you vote against Scarlett Johansson?
- nihilite, on 02/02/2008, -6/+57As a recovering cynic, I can't agree or digg that up enough.
- aaroh, on 02/02/2008, -16/+66should put it up on youtube, they'll get more views
- mediaspree, on 02/02/2008, -15/+64Beautiful people for Obama.
- HenvY, on 02/02/2008, -20/+60The best man won.

Y E S W E C A N!
Play it again... - br0ck, on 02/02/2008, -6/+35I'm sorry this is getting long, but it's frustrating that people keep saying they're the same just because they and all of the democratic members of congress vote similarly.
How about the "issue" of being able to compel our governments and other governments to work together and work with us to get things done? What if George Bush had actually had the ability to compel and convince and had been able to get a world coalition together to work with us in Iraq? Which will be better at this? Obama or Hillary?
What about the issues written about by George Lakoff the other day? They have striking differences when you look beyond war and health care an determine what the real important "issues" are: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/george-lakoff/what-c ...
Read Obama's speech before the Iraq war and compare that to Hillary's vote to authorize the war. http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Barack_Obama's_Iraq_ ...
These two videos from 2002 also compare and contrast the mental faculties and foreign policy capabilities of the two candidates:
Hillary: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkS9y5t0tR0
Obama: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXzmXy226po
As for supporting the troops, Obama has consistently worked to help veterans, stop the war and take blackwater to task. He is the top troop contributions to a democratic candidate are to Obama with $58000. He's just behind the top troop donations to a Republican with Ron Paul getting $63000.
One big vote difference is the Military Commissions Act of 2006 which Hillary voted for and Obama voted against. You can read about all the problems with it including the suspending of Habeus Corpus and the fact that it can be applied to US citizens at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_Commissions_ ...
There are quite a few other things too like the fact that Obama has been introducing very compelling legislation (criminalize election day fraud, campaign finance reform, Iraq War De-escalation Act of 2007, bill to stop military from using personality disorder discharges while not treating them, bill to increase transparency of gov't, bill to prevent veteran homelessness, coal to liquids financing, bill to eliminate health care imbalances, bill to require dept of defense to give troops protective equipment, bill to eliminate blackwater and other contractor immunity from criminal prosecution in Iraq, bill to officially state that force is not authorized against Iran. Compare this to Hillary has been working on (video game family protection act, increase size of army by 80k, zero emissions building act).
Obama: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/person.xpd?id=4006 ...
Hillary: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/person.xpd?id=3000 ... - marytnurse, on 02/02/2008, -12/+40Wundur, you really need to get out more and do some research on your own, and stop spouting what your friends say!
- jackelsmack, on 02/02/2008, -4/+31Fox is refusing any political ads during the Super Bowl.
- KevenM, on 02/02/2008, -3/+29It sure beats his second choice for a song: "I'm ***** Matt Damon"
- whathappened, on 02/02/2008, -2/+26Wow, so arizonagrandma probably is a grandma after all. Respect to you ma'am.
- mrloco, on 02/02/2008, -5/+29Dugg for Scarlett
- KSUdesigner, on 02/02/2008, -4/+27Are you serious? They are both democrats, of course they are going to have similar voting records. People join a particular political party because they share similar views with the other people in that party. Would you really expect to see a sharp contrast between Clinton and Obama's voting records?
- vishcool1, on 02/02/2008, -12/+34WHOA! Famous people overload!!! That being said.... ***** yeah, Obama 08.
- FoolsRun, on 02/02/2008, -3/+23More ridiculous than the president we have now?
- chocolatetacos, on 02/02/2008, -4/+24Barack Obama would be run out of the Democratic Party of the 50s. Your point? Times change.
- HenvY, on 02/02/2008, -3/+21As a British person, I entirely disagree with you.
- RockinRoel, on 02/02/2008, -2/+19It looks like the actors have found themselves a writer.
- marmanukem, on 02/02/2008, -5/+20Where, where is the proof? I have never seen a CFR membership list with Barack Obama on it. Show me that list and I will shut up. But until you do, SIT THE ***** DOWN SON.
- IrvineKinneas50, on 02/02/2008, -23/+38It's crazy how the Ronbots sit around and paste messages 24/7. Get a life.

- wondertwins, on 02/02/2008, -12/+26hes... black?
- inactive, on 02/02/2008, -1/+15it's effective because they don't have to
- sleepless, on 02/02/2008, -2/+16Yes, their were footage of Senator Barack Obama. But keep in mind of the last frame in the video that said "vote." It didn't say Obama, it just said vote. Obama's basic premise in his message is to bring about change through uniting the country. But in order to do that, people, all people, must vote. Even if you don't support his campaign, at least you got his message that you get out there to vote.
You don't have to be for him to be with him. You can stand along side Obama and still disagree. This is his new brand of politics. - jkleinfeld, on 02/02/2008, -2/+15If you notice, at one point in the song a singer says
"Anachnu Yecholim" - meaning 'We Can' in Hebrew
anyone know who this singer is? - hbrws111, on 02/02/2008, -5/+18Of course they are,..let's celerate beer and boobs instead. Hmmm, maybe the Republicans will sneak something in under the BOOB category. "LOL"
- Ireland, on 02/02/2008, -3/+16No you fool, he's real.
- phike, on 02/02/2008, -9/+21Ron Paul is a broken clock that happens to be right twice a day.
- inactive, on 02/02/2008, -3/+15I find your lack of faith disturbing :)
- drucius, on 02/02/2008, -0/+12Or we could start a war, run up an insane debt paying for it, get a few hundred thousand people killed, torture the people we capture, hold them without trial, and then take away civil liberties from our citizens to "keep them safe".
- jayhawk, on 02/02/2008, -2/+13he's inspired a movement that is largely grassroots and he's now nearly neck in neck with the established candidate. he has moderates and independents rallying to his message. you're in denial.
- chillypacman, on 02/02/2008, -9/+20because everyone who critically thinks knows Ron Paul is a saint and everyone else is a liar.
Also the vast majority of Americans want to vote for ron paul but don't know about him because of the msm and the jewish conspiracy.
aaaand ron paul did win every caucus except it was diebold for making him lose. - rkzda, on 02/02/2008, -2/+13If allowed 30+million
