- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -2/+67total nazi control of entire process. Mics were turned off in areas where people with different view were likely to be heard. As the states were called, mic deadened to block out Ron Paul's name, if it was even read.
WAKE UP PEOPLE! This two party/faction rule of our election process must go! - evryonesacritic, on 09/04/2008, -1/+51It is no surprise to me the Republicans know that Ron Paul and his politics are a threat to them. Ron Paul speaks the truth and the truth hurts. - We need to keep spreading this message and we need to educate people on what is happening and how it is happening. People will wake up and see the light, and hopefully it is not to late to save the Republic.
For Peace, Freedom & Prosperity ~ critic - libertygal76, on 09/04/2008, -0/+36This has been the case in EVERY state convention!!!! NO DISSENT ALLOWED!!! The most blatant offense was seen in Nevada where Ron Paul was winning the majority of delegates!! The GOP there took the ball and went home since they weren't getting their way!!! (Google it people and learn the truth) Very childish of them!! Must be UNITED behind a candidate NO ONE LIKES!!!!! I HAVE HAD IT WITH BOTH PARTIES not that THEY care! I do NOT support any candidate based on their party affiliation, but on their PRINCIPLES which NEITHER PARTY HAS!! If they think I'm going to continue to vote for the lesser of two evils, they've got another think coming!!! Because of what they've done, if I EVER considered voting for McCain -- which I HAVEN'T -- they have lost any credibility that they ever had, if they had any to begin with!!!!!
THIS IS THE EVIDENCE RIGHT HERE!!!!!! FOR GOD'S SAKE, WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!
RON PAUL IS THE ONLY TRUE CONSERVATIVE!!!!!!!!!!! - King0007, on 09/04/2008, -3/+39GOP=FAIL
- Gavin, on 09/04/2008, -1/+31What a butt hole. Jumps the gun there. Everyone needs to call his office up and give him a little 1st Amendment action.
- veeew, on 09/04/2008, -1/+30Watching this "convention" was like watching the 4th Reich (I only watched towards the end to try to catch the "roll call" and could barely stomach the few minutes I saw). This sham had nothing to do with a nomination but was rather a coronation event for the pre-selected, forced "nomination" of the fascist, warmonger McCain/Palin ticket. The whole idea of a convention and the gathering of the delegates is to select the nominee, not hold a love-fest for the next neo-con successor that the party has chosen to thrust into office. I am disgusted by the Republican party and will NEVER vote for McCain. This emotionally-driven circus will not manipulate me...and thousands if not millions of others who can see right through this. I will enjoy watching McCain crash and burn.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -2/+26Are you F******* kidding me? This is absolutely embarrassing.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -1/+25 yells for "Ron Paul" @ 6:20, 6:24
- ryenski, on 09/04/2008, -1/+24You can see it in the chairman's face - at 6:24 - you can tell he hears "Ron Paul"; he becomes flustered and his face betrays the lie. You can clearly hear "Ron Paul" being yelled at the moment he asks "Are their any other candidates".
- joshstone100, on 09/04/2008, -2/+25Only in the land of the free where freedom and democracy prevail. That is, if you're AIPAC approved. What was Bush saying about free and fair elections for Iraq again?
- oconnor11, on 09/04/2008, -1/+19You know........now that I know 16.8 million goes to these conventions out of tax payers' money, I personally don't want to pay for it anymore! The conventions were set up for honest debate and discussion.........not some congregation to force a candidate through the election process; a candidate who obviously is not right for our country. The RNC was an embarrassment to what America is supposed to stand for. We had comments from Palin and Romney joking about "terrorists" not deserving (maybe not in those exact words) habeas corpus rights. If that's the case, then what happens when our corrupt government starts calling innocent American citizens "terrorists"? I saw an interesting blog today that was titled "Palin, Romney, GOP vs. the Bill of Rights" (good title). What the GOP did was dispicable. I even heard RON PAUL's name at home watching it on tv. But the GOP's actions this whole election process has not gone unnoticed. They alienated a huge group of voters who will most likely never return unless they get an honest leader to run someday (which I doubt till the neocons are gone). I didn't see a whole lot of young people at the RNC making me think they've all fled the Bush/Cheney buddies for sunnier shores. I certainly have but I'm not one of those youngins. Comes to show that it's not just the youth who see through the BS. And I'm positive those 1.2 million voters from the primaries is probably about 5-10 million by now. All it would take is those 1.2 million to spread the message to a few friends.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -3/+20You know that when McSame loses he will blame Ron Paul for the loss.
The only hope we have for change is to elect third party candidates. Obviously the GOP has no American values left and has become yet another failed institution pretending to represent the people. - ericjohnson0, on 09/04/2008, -1/+17I think the GOP would have helped themselves by giving Ron Paul a talking spot at least.
- sandsafari, on 09/04/2008, -1/+16I think it is time we all dropped John Boehner a little email telling him how we feel. In a nice way, if you can - point out he might need new hearing aids and mention this digg and how people are reacting to his actions. Somehow he needs to remedy his bad deed. Here's the email addy http://republicanleader.house.gov/Contact/ and his Washington phone number if you are so inclined: Phone: (202) 225-4000
I think he deserves an earful...maybe he will hear the voices for Ron Paul loud and clear this time. - JKap, on 09/04/2008, -1/+16Disgusting Stalinists. May they too someday reap what they sow.
- mdonato, on 09/04/2008, -0/+14Maybe "The Chair" should have his ***** ears checked.
- vincebodie, on 09/04/2008, -0/+12For the same reasons that football games are played all 60 minutes or baseball games all nine innings (even if one team is far ahead), the Paul and Huckabee and Romney votes should have all been made public IF the GOP were interested in putting on a fair and honest show. Instead, we get a whitewashed bunch of BS that would make the likes of Hitler and Stalin proud. Way to go GOP, you're just shooting yourselves in the foot by alienating 10-20% of your own party. And speaking of sports analogies, this "two party system" is just like pro football or baseball, where they're all playing the same game whether they're in the AFC/NFC in the NFL or the American/National league in MLB. Only this is no game, it's the future of our country. Wake up and stop playing games, America!
- le0pardess, on 09/05/2008, -0/+11I was in Minneapolis for the Ron Paul Convention and marched in the protest...no Ron Paul signs allowed! I witnessed people having their signs taken along with many other violations on "We the People". I was handed a small pamphlet by the ACLU which lays out your so-called right to protest, and what to do if you're stopped by law enforcement.
The person that handed it to me was was kind enough to point out a small section which reads: The USA PATRIOT ACT prohibits willfully and knowingly engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct near or obstructing access to national political conventions. The penalty can include one year or more in federal prison.
Apparently Ron Paul signs and followers are "disorderly or disruptive". Ron Paul and his following are disruptive alright...disrupting their plan for the NWO and the deaths of millions. These treasonous, despots have stripped our rights and turned the Constitution upside down.
They need to be ***** arrested and hung like Saddam! Down with the feds! - hollering, on 09/04/2008, -0/+11Saw this same kind of crap with the state conventions; they just weren't televised.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -0/+10More dirty business here.
http://newsok.com/article/3292929 - Jacob4Freedom, on 09/04/2008, -0/+10On top of this, I have been told that when all the Ron Paul delegates got together for a group photot, the secret service searched them and confiscated all Ron Paul related material. Is this the RNC or the NNC (Nazi National Convention)?
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -0/+10.....and he just got one from this Ohio resident! Just got the auto reply so please use phone numbers too!

Good info! use it. - inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+8Secret service confiscates RP Materials-
http://www.dailynewscaster.com/2008/09/04/secret-s ... - h4ckler, on 09/04/2008, -2/+10McCain is dead in the water without his media. It's okay that you're scared of Paul. He argues logic and actually has talking points. I've come to peace with your kind of people. You stare logic right in the face and cover both ears and scream incoherently at the top of your lungs over and over.
They were not trying to "Outsmart" the GOP I'm presonally disgusted that this "convention" was even payed for by my tax dollars.
Ron Paul was the only candidate who spoke on his own points and didn't hire some pencil pusher to tell you what he "actually ment" or "what he said" or "what platform" the candidate is running for. I realize that mental process has been intrenched in and manipulated and you are riding the perverbial nuclear premptive strike to hell just like the rest of the chicken hawks that are in control of the republican party. I just hope you can become rational enough before you destroy what we have left of our precious republic.
I can dig up all kinds of (credible) political fall out on McCain or Obama with ease. I dare you to try the same for
Paul.
I'll pray for you.
I know you won't, but you should watch this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iW5kOB1pmg
In the meantime I'll review the Republican debate videos where Paul was slaying those "plasticmen" like he had a flamethrower. - timeisprecious, on 09/05/2008, -0/+7Join now, http://www.campaignforliberty.com
- voicce, on 09/05/2008, -0/+6They had to smother Paul's delegates. Both major parties have no answers to his challenges. They die if enough people hear Paul's truth. McCain and Obama are for war and state control and keeping their hobnailed boots on the necks of citizens through controls, inflation, and taxes.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -0/+6You bring up an excellent point oconner11, in fact I hope people will begin to realize this is not a "private club" as my Republican friends keep telling me, where they can just do what they want and railroad the system. "private clubs" do not get tax dollars for their parties.
This entire process has been corrupted. - Minarchian, on 09/04/2008, -1/+7Too bad digg didn't have a way to turn off your comments to where no one could read them.
You'd bitch like hell too. - georgemason01, on 09/05/2008, -0/+5The GOP has been against Ron Paul and his supporters from the start. Even without considering the media bias against him during the primary race, the party itself would have made sure he didn't get nominated. Ron Paul did the right thing working within the party all those years - otherwise he would have never gotten the mainstream attention he did in the last couple years - but at this point the party is not worth salvaging. If it can't be reclaimed, which seems less and less possible now, it will continue to contract in size and destroy itself.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4Our country is almost dead.
PLEASE PEOPLE WAKE UP! - carter1955, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4Is it me or does John Boehner sound like he is drunk or what, I bet 3/4ths of the delegates had to be drunk or high to cast a vote for McInsane !!!!!
- Minarchian, on 09/04/2008, -1/+5Don't be so clueless.
I know it's hard for neo-cons to comprehend, but it's the principles of it all....principles, it's something the neo-cons have a major lack of.
Even if he only had ONE vote, it should have been counted and declared...According to their own m'effin rules! - inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4that ***** pisses me off .. ron paul woulda made an awesome president
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4Today at the Republican National Convention, the Ron Paul Delegates were taking a picture in front of the model White House inside the Convention Center, they were surrounded by Secret Service which proceeded to search the bags of all the delegates. They took any and everything related to Ron Paul including signs, buttons, videos, slim jims, cards,
- hautediggity, on 09/04/2008, -0/+4& after he lays blame, ron paul should reply by saying, "you're welcome, america"
- Minarchian, on 09/04/2008, -0/+3I would like to know the factual numbers of the votes.
But with Republicans, facts are nearly impossible to find or hidden under "State Secrets". - Journeywithinn, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3How can you "get over" someone who is making a stand to keep our US sovereignty and the Constitution that made this new country the envy of the world when it was enforced as written? We are losing its freedoms each MONTH it seems. You need to find out what exactly is the branch you are sitting on, before you mistakenly attempt to chop it off.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3He doesn't even worst than speak the truth, he speaks like a Republican.
The totalitarians don't like that. - thedogfatherx, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2Wow that information you just typed up there really pissed me off this morning.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -1/+3But Ron Paul did write the We the People Act and he did cast a series of votes which indicate that he has no use for people of color at all. Oh, and there's no evidence at all that he didn't write those newsletters. After all, it was his signature that appeared at the bottom of the page.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -1/+3paultards/drmagicone/pajeff2/sportstar67 how many times will they ban you? Clearly your presence here isn't wanted.
I have completely debunked all of your lame accusations that Ron Paul is a bigot and yet you persist in making the false claims under new names.
You and OBushma seem to have things in common, you believe lies and repeat them even after they have been shown to be lies.
The only difference is that digg bans you. - Minarchian, on 09/04/2008, -1/+3"Similiar to what he wrote in those newsletters !"
He didn't write those newsletters.
But John McCain DID say that he hates "Gooks" and uses the word "Tarbaby" because a true racist can't hide his racism, as you know because you're one too.
And what Obama and his black supremest church?
Show me a quote from Paul that can be directly attributed to him, that is racist.
You can't because he never uttered a racist word.
Now go away race baiter. - inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2We live in a tyranny.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -3/+4Look at the bright side, at least we can still bitch on digg. Lord knows we won't do anything else.
- reed311, on 09/04/2008, -3/+4His media? LOL. The media was calling McCain "dead in the water" not too long ago (in the primaries). Everyone in the media, even the Republican shills were counting him out.
- vbullinger, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1I know, I want my 40 cents back (my portion for the two conventions combined).
Matching contributions?!? What the f?!? I can't believe we do that.
What could we have done with $33.6 million? A lot of great things. - Zalyster, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1Except little league baseball games only go like 5 or 6 innings, and that's all this GOP is--a bunch of little leaguers.
- bestsoccerdog, on 09/05/2008, -1/+1Ron Paul isn't a threat. Is that why he got such a small percentage of votes? If he had enough supporters he would have been able to afford to campaign everywhere. Do you not understand that some people do not agree with Ron Paul? People are educated about him, they just don't agree with his views. He's like Obama in many respects, he talks about a bunch of different topics, and then sets an unrealistic goal for those topics and an unrealistic process for reaching those goals.
