- discip1e, on 12/29/2007, -0/+10Ron Paul is the conscience of this nation.
- Rotondo352, on 12/29/2007, -0/+9Wow! A fair appraisal from WND. Who'da thought?
Thank you, Henry - veteran2, on 12/29/2007, -0/+9No matter how he runs, I will vote for him and if that means I have to write him in as my choice for president, I will do it.
Freedom!!!! - xtrabiggg, on 12/29/2007, -0/+9The American People are ignorant bercause thee Public Education system has discouraged and eliminated critical thinking skills for at least the last 30 years. COmbine that with the corporate-propagandist machine the mass-media has morphed into, and it's no wonder we have an information society that Josef Goebbels would be proud of.
But the American people are NOT stupid! They may not have the information, but they know a con-job when they see it. Ask any number of people on the street, and ta majority will invariable tell you that the election process is rigged, and that there is really no choice when it gets to the general election. No where is this more evident than in the blatant censoring, slamming, ignoring and outright bias against Ron Paul. Whenever he easily jumps through whatever contrived hoops the media puts in his way for exposure, another even more contrived and nonsensical one comes his way. FOX News can have NO justification for Dr. Paul's exclusion from their 'Roundtable' on January 6th, other than plain Un-American bias. He is polling above Fred Thompson, and is statistically tied with John McCain and Rudy Giuliani, who were ALL invited. The people of New Hampshire should be outraged that FOX News is using their sstate as a setting to shill for their hand-picked cnadidates. I'm sure that Rdy will get the easiest softballs, as he's a good buddy with Rger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch, and FOX Newscasts have already been half-hour-long infomercials for Rdy for a long time now.
It's time for America to throw up the bitter pill of censorship and propaganda that FOX and other news outlets have been shoving down their throats, and clear their minds with a fresh dose of Ron Paul truth, honesty and integrity.

As long as the system is the way it is, Ron Paul believes his constiuents should benefit. He however, never voted for an earmark. I don't see this as contradictory at all. And he offered to spend money out of his own pocket for the medal for Rosa Parks! Because he doesn't believe that Constitution permits Congress to use taxpayer money in that way. Why wouldn't the other congressmen and women commit to spend their own money on behalf of a civil rights leader? Far from a liar, Dr. Paul is the most honest man in Washington, according to John McCain (circa 1988) - tmccarty, on 12/29/2007, -0/+8RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT!!! OUTSTANDING ARTICLE!!
- inactive, on 12/29/2007, -0/+8blah blah blah blah
- inactive, on 12/30/2007, -0/+6While I don't agree with Ron Paul on every issue, I do on the most important and fundamental ones, i.e., a return to constitutional government, the sanctity of private property, and the unalienable, God-given rights of the individual. However, there is no way, in my never humble opinion, that the Republican establishment will allow the good Doctor to be the party's nominee. The Republican Party leadership is made up of neofascist CFR members (as is the leadership of the Democrap Party, too), whose agenda of imposing global government is totally antithetical to what Dr. Paul (and a whole lot of Americans) stands for. But it is super to have Henry Lamb, one of America's greatest and most astute conservatives, publicly supporting Ron Paul.
- Darel99, on 12/31/2007, -0/+4I would suggest if Paul for some reason doesn't win the nomination that he not run as a third party...... Let's spend the next four years teaching the public and in 2012 lets put him in office for either a second term or his first term. If he runs as an "I" he will have no chance at all of running as a "R" in 2012 and thus he will not win. He already suffers the constant jabs of a 3rd party in the past. think of if this way if the economic issues which paul has warned the nation about occurs in the next four years he is a easy winner for 2012. Let's think long term and not a knee jerk reastion to what ifs. Just think by 2012 his meet up members who are active will be well over 800,000. By 2012 the issue with the NAU will be the subject of everone and no one will deny it.
If Paul does't win Hillary will overrun the GOP nominee and we will see her sick little social experiment with our nation but she will not have the funds to carry it out so she will lead us to no where but down the tubes. Paul would splinter the donkey vote more so in 2012 if not exlected in 2009..... We could raise over 200,000,000 for Pual's second term or his first term for 2012.
I'm not the kind of man who gives up but I do try to see the future as it must be if the first option isn't won. As I see it I think Paul will win 3 in IA and place 1 or 2nd in NH and a strong showing of 2 on other states then on super tuesday picking up many 1st place wins.
Our nation is at stake and we must think short term and long term. If Paul does not win the nomination but runs as a third party he will not win as a third party but will bring more issues to the front of the table. But a run in 2012 will be nearly impossible for him to overcome the idea he ran as an "I" this year. I would rather help educate the people about Paul the next four years and get him in no later then 2012 then push the issues as an "I" and him not able to win this cycle or 2012.....
By the way who is this Henry Lamb? I must have missed seing this mans articles I don't even know who he is but will google him to find out more. But thanks so much Mr. Lamb for your article. - luckydog13, on 12/29/2007, -1/+5RickyLS,you need to smell the stuff you are spreading, right hes against amnesty until they go back an come back 20 min.later, turns out killers to kill again.Yea he went pheasent hunting so hes for the 2nd amendment,John Kerry also went duck hunting.Huch is the P T barnum of today!!!
- johnny2k, on 12/31/2007, -0/+4Until I read this article by Henry Lamb, I was still on the fence. Now, I know who I will support for President. Yes, I have now decided to caucus for Ron Paul this coming Thursday in the Iowa Caucus (Jan. 3)!
I also really liked what Darel99 said above, that if not in 2008, then 2012, and not as an independent this year. I really hope he DOES get the GOP nomination this year!
I'll be writing on my forum later today about my decision to support Dr. Ron Paul in 2008.
Happy New Year!
John K. - johnny2k, on 12/31/2007, -0/+3levibo, for anyone to go third party is political suicide, at least for now. I think a better idea would be for the RINO's to leave the GOP (they should join the Democrats, because they are the same thing, anyway), and let the true conservatives take the party back!
- johnny2k, on 12/31/2007, -0/+3Darel99, I have submitted a lot of Henry Lamb's articles here on digg. And you guessed it, most of them have stayed fairly obscure, many got less than 10 diggs. But I had always persisted, because I think he is brilliant. Darel, just read through his archive on World Net Daily. Here is his archive of his articles: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/archives.asp?AUT ...
(I wish I had seen this one before it got submitted! LOL!) - Ryaan, on 12/31/2007, -0/+2Seriously dude if you have done the research you would be scared *****. I won't call you unpatriotic, your just underinformed.
- mabelle2209, on 12/30/2007, -1/+2Good article. Every single candidate running for President seems phony and not up to the task. While I disagree with some of Ron Paul's ideas and don't see how he can ever win, he's at least an interesting and authenic character.
- dt07, on 01/02/2008, -0/+1It's amazing how many media pundits are ignorant about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights...thank God Mr. lamb is not. Go Ron Paul 2008...

Ron Paul is a tenth term congressman, Mike Huckabee got into politics in 1993, so actually Dr. Paul by himself has twice the experience of Huck.
In his defense, Huck did make one of my favorite top 10 lists:
http://www.judicialwatch.org/judicial-watch-announ ...
Do you know why the Dems want Huck as the Republican nominee? Because he would be so easy to beat. - levibo, on 12/29/2007, -13/+0I definitely agree that Paul's message is neither Republican or Democrat, so he should leave the Republican party and take the Paul followers with him. Debate would be much more civil if that were to happen, and it will after the primary when Paul goes 3rd party.
- RickyLS, on 12/29/2007, -14/+1Ron Paul is a LIAR who loves earmarks! It's ALL OVER the news! (Below)
These reports have FAR MORE to do with typical hidden expenses than the "returning tax dollars" justification being given now by Ron Pawns. READ IT AND WEEP!
"I've never voted for an earmark in my life"-- http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5hY75siz6Kuuapqk ...

Paul has sought money "has sought money for water projects, a nursing program, to expand a hospital cancer center and to promote Texas shrimp."

"Mr. Paul’s defense: he may have put earmarks in, but he voted against the bills afterward..... 'Well, that’s like, that’s like saying you voted for it before you voted against it,' Mr. Russert said." http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/12/23/ron- ...

Paul clueless about military abroad!....."Paul wants to bring home all American troops abroad to save money and avoid making enemies. Russert asked him how many U.S. troops there are abroad. Paul didn't know. " http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2007/12 ... And this is a man some want as a commander-in-chief? He doesn't even know how many troops are abroad! Answer: 572,000 (all of whom he will bring home)--what a military plan!!
