- kete00, on 02/01/2008, -5/+119Well, with Will Wheaton's endorsement, Obama can set his phasers to victory!
- Tex, on 07/28/2008, -10/+45To the online community, Wil's endorsement probably means more than Ted Kennedy's.
- lhbaker, on 02/01/2008, -3/+33I hated the 'Wesley' character, but by all accounts, Wil Wheaton would be very cool guy to have as a neighbor. Check out the site and see if you don't agree.
- sundancekid503, on 02/01/2008, -6/+26Now if Obama can just other big-name endorsements like Gary Coleman or Linux zealot Schestowitz he'll be on the clear path to victory.
- mywhitenoise, on 02/01/2008, -2/+19one successful television show?
Dude, he's in one of the greatest coming of age movies of all time, Stand By Me. - logicalnoise, on 02/01/2008, -3/+20he's a prominent digg celeb and has written 3 successful books and is helping tokyopop write the star trek mangas.
- Glugory, on 02/01/2008, -4/+21Alright I'll admit, that comment made me LOL.
- zKman, on 02/01/2008, -4/+21...says the Ron Paul supporter
- AM6278, on 02/01/2008, -3/+18I don't think it was the Ron Paul articles that bothered people so much as it was the obnoxious, constant comment spam in unrelated articles.
- Dumbledorito, on 02/01/2008, -3/+18Nobody tell Ridgeliner about YouTube or Facebook. It's always tough for people to adapt when they're let out of cryo-stasis.

There is where he writes about his endorsement. - mazerrackham, on 02/01/2008, -4/+18They have the internet on computers now?
- Midoc, on 02/01/2008, -2/+16Your user name is a Superman reference, you don't have much business calling Wil Wheaton a loser.
- Tex, on 07/28/2008, -2/+15I dugg you up for calling Wil Wheaton "famous."
- soulknowledge, on 02/01/2008, -12/+25Why are people so concerned over who celebrities endorse?
- xirtap, on 02/01/2008, -4/+16I wish people had more interest in who great scientists supported instead of actors. :/.
- nunquam, on 02/01/2008, -6/+17Does he age at all?!
- logicalnoise, on 02/01/2008, -4/+15social news site means exactly what it means. go to slashdot or stumbleupon if you hate it so much.
- 1337Einstein, on 02/01/2008, -1/+12Played Wesley Crusher on Star Trek TNG, and currently a professional nerd(or, that's the basic gist of it, anyway)
- ncairns, on 02/01/2008, -3/+13He was undecided between Edwards and Obama. Then Edwards dropped out. *****.
- bwjacket, on 02/01/2008, -5/+15*****crickets******
- Dumbledorito, on 02/01/2008, -5/+15"although Digg.com is not biased, its users are. ***** EM'"
Do you miss the point of how things work a lot? I mean, do you blame your car for driving you to a movie you didn't like? - Ajajadude, on 02/01/2008, -2/+12I was going to see if I could prove you wrong, but then I realized that would make me a super nerd...
- Beson669, on 02/01/2008, -5/+14He will be disappointed to hear his long-time mentor the Traveler will be supporting Huckabee
- Ajajadude, on 02/01/2008, -1/+10Yeah, all that fame and fortune Wheaton will be raking in now that he's endorsed Obama!
- inactive, on 02/01/2008, -2/+10Maybe because of the whole "if you don't elect ronpaul the world is going to end and you're an idiot" attitude that his zealots brought to the articles?
- redrighthand, on 02/01/2008, -2/+10The real question remains who would Picard Endorse
W.W.P.D. - sockpuppets, on 02/01/2008, -2/+8... made from the parts of lesser nerds.
- KrayzieKyd, on 02/01/2008, -3/+9Make it so, Ensign Crusher.
- aliengoods, on 02/01/2008, -4/+9Let's be honest. Wesley was the most annoying character....on any Star Trek....ever. He kept coming back. But the cheesy quality of his character could pay off. With a little work I'm thinking he could be the Bruce Campbell of the 21st century (OK, maybe I'm overstating it).
- pintomp3, on 02/01/2008, -2/+6well, he is an expert on the subject.
- GeorgeWKush, on 02/01/2008, -2/+6I don't believe Wesley was ever issued a phaser.
- dogstar0125, on 02/01/2008, -21/+25Who the hell is Wil Wheaton?
- iskevinpgay, on 02/01/2008, -3/+7The most sought after endorsement ever! (said in the voice of Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons)
- heypetray, on 02/01/2008, -8/+12Good. I'm not the only one
- logicalnoise, on 02/01/2008, -4/+8I was too young to feel one way or another when I first saw TNG but I've been watching teh whole series over again and think he made a great crewmember after the somewhat clumsy writing days of the first season.
- airburst, on 02/01/2008, -1/+4He needs to add an extra L to his name so I can stop mistaking him for a ***** Nintendo.
- Ajajadude, on 02/01/2008, -3/+6That ***** car keeps driving me to the same god-forsaken place for work!
- ncairns, on 02/01/2008, -5/+8And also much stupider. Much, much, much, much stupider.
- thehardgoodbye, on 02/01/2008, -2/+5This is all fine and well, but I'm holding out on my decision until Michael Dorn announces who he is endorsing.
- heypetray, on 02/01/2008, -3/+6Exactly, and the assclowns who say that it pays for social services like police/fire/schools don't seem to grasp the concept of how much debt we're in. We're paying off the interest! Our borrowing is out of control.
Call me spam, if you will. At least I'll know you understand who I'm advocating. It's ridiculous to me that something that doesn't blatantly and obnoxiously inform you is spam... - Rikkochet, on 02/01/2008, -1/+4If you stop and think about it, it might make you wonder who you are and why you're posting your comment here, hmmmm?
- inactive, on 02/01/2008, -2/+5Wil Wheaton is the most famous person on the internet, at least with a personal presence.
- toasterweasel, on 02/01/2008, -2/+4Embrace it...don't fear it...
- ncairns, on 02/01/2008, -6/+8Yes, we are biased - in favor of things we like. That's kind of the point of the site.
- dopplerdog, on 02/01/2008, -1/+3While I definitely agree with you that scientists should be taken more seriously than celebrities, just because someone is a scientist doesn't give him/her better insight into political matters. As an example, John Von Neumann and Eduard Teller were both great scientists, but both wanted to nuke Russia in the 50s/60s. Einstein, in contrast, was opposed to the use of nuclear weapons after Hiroshima. If scientists had better insight into politics, then shouldn't they at least *agree* on such matters? If not, then why would they be in any better position to lead a country?
Or, as another example, I don't see why a particle physicist who has been able to predict the mass of a new particle would have any greater insight as to whether decreasing welfare payments is a wise move.
But agreed that at least scientists have something valuable to say (about science). Celebrities, well... - 666dorado, on 02/01/2008, -5/+7but the real question is: does Obama endorse Will Wheaton?!?!
- supremespleen, on 02/01/2008, -2/+4Unintentionally hilarious comment.
- ciano, on 02/01/2008, -1/+3Jesus Christ that picture of him looks like Shia LaBeouf.
- Midoc, on 02/01/2008, -3/+5Wheaton does have an exceedingly popular blog however.
