- bucfish, on 10/03/2008, -0/+36After the sellout of America today to corporate interests it is time we Vote Third Party and vote anyone who voted for this bill out. That means no vote for Obama and McCain they both soldout too!!!
- 1th1nk, on 10/03/2008, -0/+29The two party system is corrupt and corporate owned and fearful of third party candidates. The suppression of the voices of these candidates is an abomination and gross embarrassment to the democratic process. Open the debates and give Americans the real choice that they deserve.
- muckemuck, on 10/03/2008, -0/+17Go ask your friends how many candidates for President will be on the ballot in enough states to win. Ask them if they know what the third party candidates stand for. Ask them if they can name them. If they don't know (and odds are they won't) ask them why. Why are the media and the two parties working so hard to force the American people to only vote for the two parties?
Are your friends happy with the two parties? Are they happy with what they've done to our economy and to our status in the world? - Insolence, on 10/03/2008, -0/+15Keep it up.
- samratpathania, on 10/03/2008, -1/+15More voices, more choices, as simple as that.
VOTE NADER - bawitback, on 10/03/2008, -0/+12Third Party is the way to go!
- adam5aby, on 10/03/2008, -0/+12spread the WORD, get people to sign up at thirdpartyticket.com
- Nekura42, on 10/03/2008, -0/+12A vote for the Republocrat system is a vote for corruption and greed. Wake up America!
- tedez, on 10/03/2008, -0/+11They have no fear.
They are not worried about being voted out of office.
They are not worried about going to prison for violating the Constitution.
They are not worried about being dragged out of their offices and flogged in the public square.
They have no fear. - triclipse, on 10/03/2008, -0/+11Bush/McCain/Obama all supported the bailout? Where is the dissenting voice of reason? Not with Obama. Not with McCain.
- KathleenHanover, on 10/04/2008, -0/+8The next president will be elected by--at most--15% of the adult Citizens of the U.S. Because most people who are eligible to vote are so disillusioned that they choose not to participate! Non-voters could determine the outcome of the election if they chose to vote, especially in swing states like Ohio. Increasing the exposure of viable third-party candidates can give people reasons to vote...and can give incumbents reasons to be afraid (and responsive to their constituents, for a change.)
- Moonrider, on 10/04/2008, -0/+6If you are still voting for the Republicans or Democrats, you are part of the problem. Be part of the solution instead, vote for an alternative candidate or write-in NOTA (None of the Above). Then challenge whomever counts the vote in your precinct/city/county to not only COUNT those write-in and alternate votes but to REPORT them. If they do not report those alternate votes, raise hell in your area with letters to the editor of your local paper and calls to your local talk shows and complain to everyone with whom you speak -- friends, family, even the checker at your local grocery store. It is Illegal not to count EVERY single vote (even those which are NOT for either of the two entrenched parties) because not counting them means they've thrown those votes in the trash. Make them acknowledge that fact and, additionally, acknowledge that throwing even one valid vote in the trash is unconstitutional.
- GovernmentSp00k, on 10/04/2008, -0/+5It's the only way.
Current criminal cowards in office and related bought, sold & paid-for professional deceivers don't represent us any more than the Keebler elves.
McBush, O-bomba voted 'YES" on the 700 billion dollar taxpayer funded "bail out" fraud. McPuppet even "suspended his campaign and scurried back to Washington in a frenzy to help them pass their taxpayer extortion bill so-called "bail out" farce. Obomba muttered something about "change" and "hope" in the background and encouraged lawmakers to pass it unanimously. Some "change" eh. It couldn't be more obvious what their real intentions are. They have CLEARLY demonstrated they are not for the American people. They vote against us. ***** 'em. Why play their game? It doesn't matter which one of these pathetic, sell out, Owned puppets gets 'elected' by Diebold computerized voting. We're ***** either way.
America DESERVES a third party rescue plan to save us from this hi-jacked 2 party "lesser of 2 evils" diarrhea. Bail out the sell-outs and give us REAL choices. - alfsborg, on 10/04/2008, -0/+5After the Wall Street Bankster Theft of the US Citizens, all incumbents that voted for the bailout need to be dumped. A vote for McBama is not acceptable. If Ronald McDonald and the Hamburgler are on the the ticket, I am voting for them before the Republicrats.
- inactive, on 10/04/2008, -0/+4You think your vote actually matters........
Oops.... the Diebold machines acted up AGAIN.............rough estimates are o.k......... no.... wait.... recount! - GovernmentSp00k, on 10/04/2008, -0/+4Or the country...
- Wosat, on 10/04/2008, -0/+4I am a Republican who supports John McCain, but I think it's terrible that we can't have one stinking debate with *all* serious presidential candidates. It's pathetic that the 2 major parties are so afraid.
The Democrats and Republicans should not control the debates!!! - blisswtew, on 10/07/2008, -0/+3$700-billions to be put on the taxpayer's tab and both Obama and McCain are for the socialist redistribution of wealth. I'd like to see them explain themselves in front of America on streaming video and TV in a real debate where all the third party candidates also get to be involved; where they all get asked the same questions; where they each get the same amount of time to answer; and where a truly non-partisan sponsor conducted the debate. Imagine Americans comparing the answers of Chuck Baldwin to McCain, and Obama about questions concerning the bailout bill and lack of authority under the constitution.
- GovernmentSp00k, on 10/04/2008, -0/+3Crap.. we accidentally 'misplaced' 10,000 ballots! Oh well, it happens! You know how busy it gets during election time!
- rasbradley, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2Voting Dennis Moore out of Kansas!!!!
- muckemuck, on 10/04/2008, -0/+2There's a debate Oct 15th in NC for the candidates for Governor -
Republican - Pat McCrory
Libertarian - Mike Munger
Democrat - Beverly Perdue
It's being held in the studio of WTVI and will be broadcast on other stations throughout the state.
I throw this out there because the last debate was with just Munger and McCrory and it was an excellent debate. Munger brought up issues that had been absent in the previous debates between McCrory and Perdue. You can watch it here http://www.unctv.org/election/tvprograms/watch.htm ... If the two major parties will include the third parties then the voters will benefit. - Future4u, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1
There is no voting for " the lesser of two evils " here . They are both equally evil and
comply with the wishes of the puppet masters . The winner has been preselected and any semblance of competition is a charade . A vote or either is meaningless and a wasted vote . - coyote1284, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1*Hear me out*
It's too late for 2008, we need to stand up for the 2012 Third Party now. The TV addicted, silence-phobic, general public had the names Obama and McCain etched into their brains for the past 3 years, they don't even care who the running mates are or what the running mates' views are. - drglitch, on 10/06/2008, -0/+0Well said. There is nothing wrong with political discourse. Opening the debates brings in fresh ideas and forces candidates to focus on the issues that matter to the many (the people) instead of the few (the corporations)
The mass media is also complicent as there is a near total blackout of third party candidates. How can we have a democracy when information is withheld or the dissemination of information is obstructed by the mass media? We can't. What we end up with is fascism instead.
Personally I support Nader/Gonzalez, but all ballot qualified candidates should be allowed to be on the same stage. There are too many voters that are not even aware of these candidates and their platforms. - Ericbrown7449, on 10/03/2008, -6/+4Not Going to Waste my Vote!!! Stop Socialism NOW!
