- DatDamWuf, on 01/20/2008, -0/+2The truth about cracking down on employers is that doing so will force illegal aliens to leave the US. The fact that Mexican legislators are worried in advance of the law being enforced is telling. So why do our politicians always say something along the lines of; we can't deport millions of illegals, we don't have the resources? This scene is starting to play out in states where they are legislating this problem. Recently an article explored why Brazilians are returning home in droves; because their drivers licenses are expiring and new rules on renewing the license makes it difficult for an illegal to get one. Rather than live in fear of arrest, they are going home. We know if an illegal cannot get a job they are not going to stay. The politicians pretend this is not going to happen....
- whodat51773, on 01/17/2008, -0/+2Now get this, the Mexican lawmakers are upset because Arizona's law "will have a devastating effect on the Mexican state." Yeah ... all those Mexicans coming back home really bothers them.
Excuse me, but just how is this Arizona's problem? These lawmakers say that Sonora can't handle the demand for housing, jobs and schools if the Mexicans return to their hometown. Again, why is this Arizona's problem?
A Mexican representative is upset because there is not one person living in Sonora who doesn't have a friend or relative working in Arizona ... gee, that's a scary thought. Imagine if every Mexican in Mexico had a family member living in the United States. Wait .. that's probably the case right now! But the representative also points out that this Arizona law is going to lead to the disintegration of the family. How's that? If the father comes home from his illegal journey to the U.S., how does that lead to the destruction of his family?
Can we deny these idiots visas? boortz.com
