- Belushi, on 10/11/2007, -4/+9Ron Paul was right. He is not the only one who has admitted and/or discovered that our interventionist foreign policy is what caused the attacks on us. Here it is from the FBI, CIA, and Bin Laden:
The 911 Commission Report: During the 9/11 Commission hearings, Vice Chair Lee Hamilton asked, "What motivated them to do it?" FBI Special Agent James Fitzgerald answered, "I believe they feel a sense of outrage against the United States. They identify with the Palestinian problem, they identify with people who oppose repressive regimes, and I believe they tend to focus their anger on the United States." 9/11 Commission testimony June 16, 2004
One of the countless expert CIA statements: Former CIA Bin Laden Unit Chief Michael Scheuer has bluntly stated, "The politicians really are at great fault for not squaring with the American people. We're being attacked for what we do in the Islamic world, not for who we are or what we believe in or how we live." Lou Dobbs CNN
Bin Laden in a video response stated, "The White House (is) hiding the truth ... the reality is that we are striking them because of their evil and injustice in the whole of the Islamic World, especially in Iraq and Palestine and their occupation of the Land of the Two Holy Sanctuaries (Arabian Peninsula)."
What further proof do people need? - Nodaki, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Buchanan's views regarding foreign policy have always been on target. He is throwing his lot in with Ron Paul. Ron with his comment and then Rudy with his ignorant comeback leap-frogged Dr. Paul from obscurity into a topic of conversation.
Keep at it Ron! - 1776jedi, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7Ron was right on target. They are demonizing him because he can throw a monkey wrench in their plans to fake another attack and blame it on Iran.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Ron Paul or Pat himself should be the Pres. Not these Shadow Government/Trilateral nuts who are hell-bent on something only they can understand. Maybe they're getting high on their own supply [of BS].
- FunkyPits, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6I agree when reading the article for the first time I did not see who had written it. Went back to the top saw Pat Buchanan went right back to the bottom and hit the digg button on the site. I don't really submit much but really enjoyed reading this from a as earlier stated "Christian nutjob". Also saw someone came through and randomly buried everyone who commented down so you all got 1 free digg from me.
- ScottyDog1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Rudy Guiliani is a traitor to his country and had a lot of balls to criticize Ron Paul when he has been selling out Americans every since he left his position as Mayor of New York.
The mainstream media including FoxNews has covered up the fact that Rudy Giuliani is behind the NAFTA Superhighway. Turns out Giuliani is profiting from Illegal Immigration with the NAFTA superhighway and is a CFR member in drag ready willing and able to sell our America for a North American Union.
Now we know why he was flip flopping on Illegal Immigration in press interviews.
Giuliani Linked to "NAFTA Superhighway"
http://www.augustreview.com/news_commentary/north_american_union/giuliani_linked_to_%22nafta_superhighway%22_2007051459/
NAFTA Superhighway has Giuliani as key player
http://www.renewamerica.us/columns/grassi/070504
"At the center of negotiations for multiple legs of the Superhighway Corridor throughout Texas, is none other than Rudolph Giuliani's law firm which landed the Comprehensive Development Agreement for a widening of Interstate-35, now referred to as the TTC-35, in addition to the Master Development Plans for State Highways 121 and 130 among other legs of the TTC. All negotiations for Cintra were and are presently handled by the law firm, Bracewell & Giuliani, LLP, of which Republican Presidential candidate, Rudolph Giuliani, has been a senior executive partner since March 2005. His law firm is the exclusive legal counsel for Cintra. Bracewell & Giuliani is comprised of 400 attorneys, based in Houston, TX with offices in New York City, Washington, D.C., London and Kazakhstan."
"Most interesting to the whole story is not only has Mr. Giuliani's involvement in the NAFTA Superhighway not ever having been publicly addressed, but how a foreign company is awarded the building of a mass highway system, versus maintaining it, for the first time in U.S. history, and negotiated by the law firm of the top Republican candidate running for President of the United States. And truly disturbing is how such will not only have national and homeland security and sovereignty implications but how it is deliberately being kept away from the Halls of Congress."
"Giuliani fancies himself as an expert on homeland security issues and a law enforcer. And he has amassed quite the portfolio since 2002, earning $20 million in that year alone, by selling himself as such. He owns Giuliani Partners, Giuliani Safety & Security and Giuliani Capital Advisors. In March 2007 he sold Giuliani Capital Advisors, a former Ernst & Young finance company he purchased in 2002, to Macquerie Infrastructure Consortium. Not coincidentally, it is a partner of Cintra's in its shared operations of toll roads in both Indiana and Chicago, IL."
So while he was trying to call Ron Paul unpatriotic for not supporting the war in Iraq, he has been selling America out on the North American Union and creating the NAFTA Superhighway which will be used by Mexican trucking companies to transport Chinese shipping containers putting Americans out of work.
The so called "Top Tier" candidates being shoved down our throats by the RNC are all CFR members that support Amnesty and the creation of the North American Union.
Ron Paul, Tom Tancredo, and Duncan Hunter are a threat to their plans to sell out America to the SPP or NAU.
I will be voting for one of above for that very reason!! - samjcarroll, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Ron Paul is gaining momentum. Fox and all the major news networks are taughting the rudy v paul thing as a win for rudy. I dont think so. It looks like paul is going to gain from it.
- 1776jedi, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5People will surprise you some times. We're all in the same boat man, whether your a "Christian nutjob ***** hater conservative" or an "Atheist screwball pro ***** liberal" It's time to set that ***** aside and kick the nazis warmongers out.
Ron Paul 2008! - trout007, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3How about a Ron & Pat ticket? I think there are a lot of people who identify with Republicans because of their (before Bush) fiscal policies and kind of hold their nose as they vote becuase of their moral policies. I am one of those people. I am also sure there are people on the democrat side that find the social issues much more important so vote that way. Someone like Ron who supports liberty across the board should get mass appeal if we can just manage to get him through the primaries. I actually registered for a party for the first time this year so I can vote in the primaries.
- hoeckf, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Ron Paul was the only candidate to speak the truth. The liberal media probably are sacred of him as he could bring the anti-Iraq war voters back to the Republican fold. He is a Buchanan Republican like myself.
- CCoburn3, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Ron Paul hit the nail on the head. People in the Middle East are not that much different from us. Like Dr. Paul said, if Red China set up installations in the US & kept up a no-fly zone for over a decade, we'd be upset too. Why do we expect to be able to do that sort of thing in the Middle East without upsetting the natives?
- robertrutger, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Rudi Guliani is a disgusting piece of garbage. He continues to exploit 9-11 tragedy for personal political gain. His personal life is a disgrace; three marriages and children that despise him. Given the chance he will no doubt be as unfaithful to his oath of office as he has with his martial vows. He appeals to national security when it relates to taking away our freedoms, then uses his law firm to represent foreign entities to promote a sovereignty destroying NAFTA superhighway. A walking talking piece of crap! Get the heck out of the Republican Party!
- Darel99, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3::::
Good news to share! I switched over and listened to a few liberal radio shows and they are all talking about the truth that Ron Paul brings to the front of the page. Yet, stupid fox watching Neo-cons don't get it. Ron Paul will have more cross party support voting for him then any other choice. Ron Paul can win if so our nation will win. He is fair, honest and is the real deal.
We must support Ron with Cash he needs to have a huge war chest.... We need to pray for him, staff and family every day. A new America will emerge with Ron Paul.
::::
PS: Pat's article was great. Ron has already issued a debate with Rudy I wonder if Rudy has agreeded to a debate regarding policy. - pjmellon, on 10/11/2007, -4/+6Ron was clearly right. Keep it going!
God's Speed Ron Paul. - kramjam, on 10/11/2007, -4/+6Ron was right.
- 1776jedi, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5They need their lieing scumbag media prostitutes to spoon feed it to them with a little kool-aid to wash it down.
- trout007, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2The one HUGE thing about 9/11 that nobody talks about is how the FAA policies were at fault for letting the terrorists succeed. It is more of the don't defend youself let the government do it thinking that always gets us in trouble. The people on the first few planes were not scared to act. The could of done so easily. I am certain the flight crew was trained by the FAA for hijacking situations by giving the hijackers what they wanted. So the whole time the flight crew was telling the people not to act. On the flight 93 people on the plane started getting information and took action. If the FAA didn't have that policy those two towers plus thousands of our troops would be alive today.
- yeloveit, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2ron is right. anyone with any intelligence knows the basic laws of human emotion. someone can only oppress you for so long before you must retaliate. U.S. foreign policy has most definantly contributed to a deep seeded hatred from the middle east region and caused them to strike back with the little they have left.
Ron is truely a great man in this time. - conspiracynut84, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2If Ron Paul somehow beats the crooked election system and wins the Presidency, do you think that the Shadow Government will allow him to remain in office? Keep your eye on the grassy knoll. They did it to Kennedy. They will do it to Paul.
- daffodilly, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2What Crocodile tears and what a bunch of Crock! It's high time that Guilani stop playing the 911 card. Let's not forget, Guilani (former prosecutor) was responsible for clearing all of the steel debris out of ground zero and shipping it to China, thereby destroying the evidence of a crime scene. Isn't that a felony?
- jonathan95060, on 10/11/2007, -4/+5My God, I always thought Buchanan was a Christian nutjob ***** hater conservative but his analysis of the Giuliani verses Paul fracas over 9/11 is 100% accurate. If only the Bush administration was 1/10th as reasonable and rational in their foreign policy outlook as Paul and Buchanan!
- Orderless, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0@ richziga
I think that there is probably a fair amount of bandwagon effect in play with Ron Paul's popularity. However, he is the only candidate who seems like he would try to wrestle this nation away from the military-industrial complex and other special interests and return it to the people. There is not a single informed American who is under the illusion that their government, in its current state, is here to look after their well being. He's our best shot and I'd be damned proud to have him as my president. And, at this point, I couldn't care less why he's getting support. - dbman63, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Ron Paul has my vote!
- richziga, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0I only have one question, are all you Paul supporters willing to really open your eyes, aren't you the same idiots that called us tinfoil hat conspiracy nutjobs years ago when we tried to warn you about Bush?
Sorry I had to get that out of my system - Furl, on 10/11/2007, -4/+3Yes.
