- Akvj1n, on 12/05/2007, -4/+73And somehow people are surprised?
- fonebone2, on 12/05/2007, -0/+51Bush is so smart his strategy to prevent Iran from acquiring nukes worked four years before it even existed.
- growlzor, on 12/05/2007, -7/+45It may be just me but I think "sheeple" is a hilarious word
- thebellmaster1x, on 12/05/2007, -2/+38Or Dennis Kucinich.
"Because There's More Than One Good Candidate" ® - freakk123, on 12/05/2007, -3/+35Hilarious in the way that it makes me wanna punch anyone who uses it.
- brownrabbit, on 12/05/2007, -6/+38What is the difference between a lying to the American people and lying under oath (as in the case with the previous President)?
I will continue to ask my congress-people this question and I demand that this man and his political associates be removed from their position. - 911truthguy, on 12/05/2007, -38/+61This is why we need Ron Paul people!! Someone has to stop these lying cheeting war-profiteering SOB's!!
- sodoh, on 12/05/2007, -1/+23You don't need Ron Paul. YOU NEED BUSH OUT OF THE WHITEHOUSE NOW. If your waiting for the 2008 elections, your part of the problem. Not the solution.
- hiphoc, on 12/05/2007, -6/+27In other news....... Breaking news this week was that Miss Pueto Rico was pepper sprayed. The press is now complicit in covering up for the administration and the corrupt congress. If Jeffrey Dahmer killed people and I went behind him cleaning up, hiding evidence and making sure that he was not discovered. I would be an accomplice. The press is guilty of crimes of omission and at worse commission. That's why they hate the web and the blogs. We know they are lying scumbag ass suckers. They will do anything to have that house in the hills and the BMW. I am not talking about the local beat writer. Its the editors who take the reports and twist them. Its the guys on TV and the News Editors at the stations. I dont know if anyone remembers this but Rosie O'Donnell did a gig with Rosanne Bar a few weeks ago and Rosie stated on stage that everyone on the view except her had an ear piece in and were fed lines and told what to say by a producer. So here we have a supposed female oriented opinion show, people think 4 or 5 women are sharing their thoughts. And a male producer is feeding them lines and suggestions. This is like the wizard of oz and the curtain needs to be pulled back on the old white men running things. And when I say old white men I mean, Bush Sr., David Rockefeller, Kissinger, Cheney, Murdock, Conrad Black. I am sure Randolf Hearst has a hard on in hell at the corruption in the media today and the yellow journalism of the day.
- pintomp3, on 12/05/2007, -2/+22i googled ron paul. it brought me back to digg.
- fonebone2, on 12/05/2007, -3/+22Only brain damaged neocons think the press is out to screw Bush.
- pseudononymist, on 12/05/2007, -3/+18Ron Paul is a great choice, but this isn't why we need him. The problem here is a MSM that's afraid of the government, which points to what clearly isn't a free society. What we really need are unscripted press conferences with invited press determined by independent white house staffers so media don't have to worry about losing access when they ask tough questions.
- omababy, on 12/05/2007, -1/+16"...when good men do nothing".
- TLAKABM, on 12/05/2007, -1/+15Yeah, as soon Bush is out of the office everythings going to be fine and everyone will be happy and America won't have any more problems and the corporations won't have all the power any more.
NOTHING'S GOING TO CHANGE IF YOU BELIEVE BUSH IS THE SOURCE OF AMERICA'S PROBLEMS. - miketrin, on 12/05/2007, -2/+14I sure hope everyone that is old enough and in the USA gets out there and registers to vote.
- pu-z, on 12/05/2007, -1/+13Where was Helen Thomas?
- Unexploded, on 12/05/2007, -0/+12Sitting there with a big X over her on the seating chart. One of the networks happened to capture a shot of the seating plan on Bush's podium. Anybody with the balls (or brains) to ask a real question was avoided.
- Dumbledorito, on 12/05/2007, -1/+12Way to give it to the press on both ends. When one of them stands up to BushCo (i.e. Helen Thomas), they get accused of being "mean" or "lying" or "trying to play gotcha-politics" or whatever Bush/Pernio decide to vomit out rather than an actual answer.
- Rowan187, on 12/05/2007, -1/+12Ugh... this was supposed to be his impeachment mistake....
- northernmunky, on 12/05/2007, -1/+11The World: "Ahh, so Bush has been caught lying, again to America and the world about Middle eastern countries and WMD's?"
America: "Yep"
The World: "Your government made up a story about Iraq carrying WMD's, invaded the country, didn't find any, and later Bush himself admitted there was no evidence they ever had any in the first place..."
America: "Yep"
The World: "...and then the Bush Administration creates a story centering around Iran building a nuclear weapon and that WW3 would start if you don't invade now"
America: "well.... yeah sorta"
The World: "The world didn't believe you, didn't support you causing Russia to step in to ward you off....."
America: "uh huh"
The World: "..and now you casually admit they 'halted' their nuclear weapon program in what.. 2003???"
America: "Yupteedooo"
The World: "Mr. Bush lies to you a lot doesn't he?"
America: "Yes, he does"
The World: "So are you going to impeach him yet... or more appropriately arrest him?"
America: "Probably not"
The World: "... and why not?"
America: "We have no balls" - Groovemaster, on 12/05/2007, -0/+10"The problem here is a MSM that's afraid of the government"
Close.
The problem is actually a MSM that's being run by the same corporations that control government. "Afraid" doesn't come into it. - shdspart, on 12/05/2007, -2/+11It's interesting how the MSM will continue to expose itself at all costs to try to save face. They have to continue telling lies to cover their ass and destroy their credibility daily. Hopefully they will serve as a good example in history for how not to run your newspaper.
- mattst88, on 12/05/2007, -0/+9I think you meant:
Fool me once... shame on... shame on you. But if you fool me, I can't get fooled again - banmaster, on 12/05/2007, -0/+8No. Just vote.
Look at the utter mess that praying has resulted in! - thebellmaster1x, on 12/05/2007, -1/+9http://xkcd.com/202/
Make sure to check the image title text. - dillyhoo, on 12/05/2007, -5/+13You know you're hearing a rational, concise, well-thought out opinion when "sheeple" is right in the title and it's on a blog with more ads than words.
- Damian91, on 12/05/2007, -1/+9My God, no matter how red the apple is you'll still call it green. This is not a threat to me and most of America, to the people who think it is go suit up and go over there and deal with this "threat" you're so afraid of.
- HippyInASuit, on 12/05/2007, -0/+8If Bush is not impeached then we're telling our future presidents that we want a dictator to start WW3 and put us all in camps.
- justintsmith, on 12/05/2007, -0/+8Sounds like someone's been watching a liiiittle too much Fox News. You sir, are an idiot.
- ChaosMotor, on 12/05/2007, -0/+8Believing that the Dems are different from the Repubs is part of the game that keeps us from acting against the real source of corruption in the government. The "parties" are two heads of the same snake.
- pintomp3, on 12/05/2007, -0/+8kucinich, gravel, paul. we do have choices. pick wisely.
- barrt814, on 12/05/2007, -1/+9You always have to be suspicious about a group of people the White House selects for any committee of people. The White House Press Corps has the approval authority in the name. The commission to investigate the tower collapse was a White House approved group of people. Basically, BushCo is going to deliver the message they want you to hear, not the truth. You know, if Bush came out and said the truth about something, the country would have a collective heart attack.
- BlackOp, on 12/05/2007, -3/+10Or Mike Gravel.
- fadeout, on 12/05/2007, -1/+8He was getting questioned about it today on CSPAN by the White House press pool, he dodged the questions... don't know what else they can do other than ask questions? They're reporters, not Senators. They did have someone behind a reporter blatantly blurred out, too.. that was kinda weird. Don't think I have ever seen that on that channel before.
- mal1964, on 12/05/2007, -0/+7Fool me once shame on you (Iraq) Fool me twice shame on me.
- bluesnowmonkey, on 12/05/2007, -0/+7Keep going... and the the Democrats... and pretty much everyone in DC.
- amoro99, on 12/05/2007, -0/+6Congress can impeach for any reason they want. A law need not be broken
- krebcycle, on 12/05/2007, -0/+6no they're not, it's just not in their best economic interest to put him on the spot
- williamdyer, on 12/05/2007, -0/+6You have a point, but Bush is especially bad. UNTIL he is gone, we are in a much higher than necessary danger of going to war with Iran.
- arplayer2k, on 12/05/2007, -0/+6how do you know they are? you dont, its speculation. just because they aren't conforming to us (our thoughts of democracy, ideals, values, etc), we are inclined to think they need assistance in some way...... why don't we step out of the waist deep ***** hole we are in currently, shower, and then think about jumping in headfirst into another *****.
- bluesnowmonkey, on 12/05/2007, -0/+6Can you cite that? I'd like to see the shot.
- daaaveg, on 12/05/2007, -14/+20The press isn't doing anything to help make a change this upcoming election. People are starting to get the picture online where free speech actually means free speech. Lets make a change. google Ron Paul.
- rhedwolf, on 12/05/2007, -0/+6Speculation is NEVER a good reason to go to war. Bush misled the American people by promoting war against Iran using old and/or inaccurate data.
- cptsmidge, on 12/05/2007, -2/+8Yeah, it's my standard policy is to bury anything with the word Sheeple in it.
- DuffyDirect, on 12/05/2007, -0/+6It's actually pretty easy to find on a map, find the Arabian peninsula, go right across the gulf, and poof you're in Iran.
- notoneofus, on 12/05/2007, -0/+5It's more convenient to screw someone if you're in bed with them.
- pintomp3, on 12/05/2007, -0/+5nah, that was hiro.
- ChaosMotor, on 12/05/2007, -0/+5They aren't afraid. Their owners don't want them to question the government that furthers the owner's business interests.
- k3ano, on 12/05/2007, -0/+5Videos
- zhulien, on 12/05/2007, -2/+6remember, this is an article about intelligence and bush doesn't have any as demonstrated by his dialog
