White House Spokesperson Tony Snow to Resign

thinkprogress.org — In an interview with the conservative Hugh Hewitt show, Tony Snow signaled that he will not stay until the end of the term. He also mentioned that there are “probably a couple” of other high-level resignations “coming up in the next month or so.”

    I have to admit, I was surprised that he wasn't leaving to spend more time with his family though.

    Maybe that moldy excuse was drawing too many snickers from the crowd (especially after Rove), so 'running out of money' has been edited into the neo-con 'what-to-say' playbook in order to mix it up a bit.
