- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3So supposedly the Bush administration, the same ones who sent troops without armor and who tried to cut VA funds and who allowed our wounded men and women to languish in filth, asked for pay raises, and that same Bush administration denied them.
Isn't it fun how the Bush adminstration likes to pretend that it's not all one administration?
So despite the House committee and (supposedly) Bush asking for raises, the Bush budget crew (who works for Bush) said no.
Yep, that's what you call ***** the troops and seeing if they buy your story.
Is it because he's a coward and resents the troops that Bush does his best to ***** them at every turn? - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3Anybody know what those Blackwater fellas pull down a month? Now that's supporting the troops...
- Maaarrrk, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1It is ironic how "supporting the troops" means not paying them well for perpetual war and death.
- eastbrook, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2And those of us who would like them to see them come home where they can make a descent living and not be shot at are accused of not supporting them.
- yodacallmesome, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0Support the troops eh? I guess I should not be surprised that an administration who doesn't listen to its military, and doesn't care about their fate would take such a petty position. "They don't need a raise?" Ask their families!
