Anyways, they were discussing this whole Republican campaign technique of painting the democrats as "elitist". Their usage of that term here implies that the democrats are a bunch of smarty-pants who are rich and out of touch with the average American.
I consider myself an average American, and what that means is this:
I know no one who has even ridden on a private jet, let alone someone who owns one.
