- Synaxy, on 01/18/2008, -4/+78Nice that it has sources to back up the statements. Interesting find..
- tamckissick, on 01/18/2008, -5/+62This hit all the issues that are important to me, so big digg. This will make my already easy task of converting people to his side much easier.
- xander, on 01/18/2008, -2/+59this needs to be spread around
- JimInNY, on 01/18/2008, -2/+52It's a great resource.
- inactive, on 01/18/2008, -2/+51I like the way it was well referenced and clear. Anyone who has read the Constitution knows the phrase "use of force" cannot be found there. Anyone who is today working through mountains of paperwork trying to wade though ambiguous and ill written IRS codes knows what kind of a nightmare that is. Anyone who has been paying attention knows that 2007 dollars were worth less than 2006 and so on. In fact the American Eagle gold coins I purchased when "W" was sworn in will still get me the same amount of gasoline, so it is clear that Ron Paul knows a hell of a lot more about economics and the federal government than his opponents. I think the anti- freedom grouches are just angry because Ron Paul is so great and none of the others stack up and we Ron Paul supporters are among the smartest people in the land. They feel inferior because they are too weak to choose a candidate and too timid to stand up for their choice. Happily, myself and my fellow Ron Paul freedom supporters have no such problem. We are confident in our choice and we are strong enough to tell people about it. We realize why Ron Paul need to be the next president and why it is inportant to show others what a good and decent man he is and how much better a statesman he is than the also-rans.
"In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce man; brave, hated, and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot." -Samuel Clemens, author who wrote under the nom de plume, Mark Twain - Berkana, on 01/24/2008, -0/+41This listing and side by side exposure of what the candidates stand for is EXACTLY why the debates have been trying to hush up the existence of Ron Paul. If more people knew what is shown in that list, Ron Paul would be the front runner. They either don't give him enough speaking time, or they try to exclude him entirely. However, I do wish the list would give Kucinich fair coverage as well. Kucinich and Ron Paul actually share many of their views on foreign policy, and only Kucinich and Paul seem to understand anything about monetary policy, though they differ on what the remedy should be.
Spread the word. More people need to see this. - Blunt50, on 01/24/2008, -1/+42Ok.. I was flipping between Romney and Paul.. But after seeing Romney is such a socialist with his healthcare idea FORCING it on everyone.. And a system that will ruin the country financially, costing 15 trillion dollars over the next 15 years (where are we gonna get the money from)?? And doing more research on the 2 candidates, I have to go with Paul.. Ron Paul really impresses me.. I also just found out that Paul wrote 6 books on monetary policy.. And looking at the amazon reader comments on one of his books, it looks like Paul is very good with the economy. And that's what America needs...
- donnie_dark0, on 01/18/2008, -3/+38Thanks, I think I'm going to make a spreadsheet of this to pass out when I canvass.
- Radwar99, on 01/25/2008, -0/+27For those for think it's bias, consider this, it's not Dr. Paul's fault if he votes the right way and the other's don't. And how the heck is showing a side-by-side voting record of the candidates bias anyway?
- lastnymleft, on 01/24/2008, -0/+27This is an awesome resource. It needs to be spread around.
- erinzdad, on 01/24/2008, -1/+27Hey All you haters,
Don't count your neo-lib/con chickens yet. A graphic like this will fuel Ron Paul's campaign big time. (especially if the economy keeps tanking)
I just marvel at you people who argue FOR your own enslavement. It's OK to come off of the government plantation haters. Liberty is good, peace is sweet and prosperity is ours for the taking.
WAKE UP HATERS, OR MAY THE JACKBOOTS REST LIGHTLY ON YOUR DESERVING NECKS !!! - xander, on 01/18/2008, -7/+32"the Iraq war is labeled "unconstitutional" - not exactly conservative in flavor"
whats not conservative about following the constitution? - FluffyWolf, on 01/18/2008, -3/+28You can easily see why they call him Dr Yes...
- allthebest, on 01/25/2008, -0/+22The choice is very clear.
Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who doesn’t want to run the country. Just the executive branch of the federal government. None of the others can even see a difference. And they desperately want to run the country, i.e., you. - aaronmann, on 01/24/2008, -0/+21Yes, this is good - THANK YOU!
- jlizgar, on 01/24/2008, -0/+21This is great, thanks so much!
- tommyzDad, on 01/18/2008, -6/+27Another one-issue voter? Bye bye.
- Ifritdave, on 01/24/2008, -0/+19killing alot of people? man some people are just so dumb it's astounding, how can you afford internet? RP wants to STOP the killing, just in case you've been hiding your head under the sand for the past year
- BigRedBrent, on 01/24/2008, -0/+18I need your help to get Celebrities for Ron Paul.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyeVGUhxJZ4 - Lowrider49, on 01/25/2008, -0/+18An exceptional site. Send it to everyone.
- bpruss, on 01/25/2008, -0/+18If more people understood monetary theory and policy I think the world would be a much better place.
- rilla825, on 01/24/2008, -0/+18WTF are you talking about "killing a lot of people" do you speak english?
- katie212, on 01/25/2008, -0/+17Excellent reference of a side by side comparison of Ron Paul and the others. There are not many differences if any , in the other candidates whether they are dem or republican. DR. Paul help us get our freedoms back!
- mokkan88, on 01/24/2008, -0/+17It's not propaganda if the facts are straight. I'm not arguing that it's not biased - clearly it is, but that doesn't make it propaganda. That facts aren't twisted. There's nothing wrong with probing the records of candidates - in fact, it would be a tremendous disservice to yourself and to your country if you voted WITHOUT being informed about not only the candidate's positions on the issue, but their record on the issues as well.
This site is clearly biased, but it is also accurate. - MrUnloadingzone, on 01/25/2008, -0/+17I DUGG it, I blogged it, and I think it's great! But like a lot of other great things on and about Ron Paul, Mainstream Media and Big Business have already decided who the candidates are going to be. Again, this is great work but Dr. Paul may be a man before his time. When the country financially collapses, history will see him as an opportunity missed. At least I'll know I voted for him.
- moontime, on 01/26/2008, -0/+16Great resource, thank you!
Go Ron Paul!!! - IrvineS2K, on 01/25/2008, -0/+16Actually I found this article from a graph showing Huckabee's money bomb totals. I then decided to digg it directly from that page. So NOPE.
I do realize this list of issues are worded in a way that results in a nice green line of YES's for Paul, but if these issues are important to you then it's going to hit home who your man is. If other issues not listed are important to you, or if you want it worded differently to cater to your favorite candidate, perhaps you should post a similar page, and call it something clever.
If you're a supporter of someone other than Ron Paul, I suggest you actually try supporting them and educating the American public on WHY they are the right man for America, and let the people draw their own conclusions.
Don't beat down supporters that have spent anywhere from months to years reading into the amazing Ron Paul. - lastnymleft, on 01/24/2008, -1/+16Can we get this happening virally on facebook and myspace?
- ladalang, on 01/27/2008, -0/+14Wow, fantastic!
- dinsy, on 01/24/2008, -1/+15 Without guns, there would be no rights. And "neanderthalistic" is not a word. You're welcome.
- RPRocks, on 01/28/2008, -0/+14Very nice! Wake up people!
http://www.ronpaul2008.com - Gene1200, on 01/28/2008, -0/+14Go Ron, a man amongst boys.
- nickvence, on 01/28/2008, -0/+14I am sending the following message to everyone in my address book who votes:
Election time is confusing. Each candidates has a position (maybe) on dozens of issues. Here is the best comparison chart of presidential candidates I've come across (and I've seen 4).
http://KnowBeforeYouVote.com/
I feel this site is superlative for two reasons: its simplicity and its references. [see below] Some people vote on a gut feeling after hearing one candidate or another. Other citizens schedule an evening to review the candidates before an election. Whether you only have time for a click and a glance or are interested in detailed comparison, this site will help.

Each candidate's websites - ryzor, on 01/24/2008, -1/+14$900B is collected in income tax $600B of that goes to pay INTEREST on our debt.
What to cut? How about the nearly 3TRILLION we have spent so far in IRAQ?
or the 200BILLION we are spending every year on this failure of a war on drugs
http://members.cox.net/lnardozi/wardrugs.htm - SetaAkamatsu, on 01/25/2008, -0/+13Easy to understand, and very informative, AWESOME site :)
I'm definitely spreading this.
GO DR.YES :D - patrickHenry23, on 01/28/2008, -0/+13Ron Paul is the only man who can save the day.
- moabman, on 01/28/2008, -0/+13Oh this is the bodiddy, to the point and lots of linkege, sweet
- Cooltruth, on 01/27/2008, -1/+13I was the 444th person to digg this chart comparing the candidate's stands on the issues. Nine more days until I get to cast my vote for Ron Paul for President!
- inactive, on 01/28/2008, -0/+12Given the fact he is a doctor who has tended to women for decades and given awy his services if the patient could not afford to pay him I would say that you are definitely clueless when it comes to Ron Paul.
He has delivered thousands of babies and you don't do that without caring about women.
Yours has to be the lamest argument I have ever seen!! - ryzor, on 01/24/2008, -1/+13So he should screw over the people that elected him because he doesn't agree with earmarks?
- inactive, on 01/18/2008, -2/+14Who is your candidate?
- inactive, on 01/18/2008, -2/+13Who is your candidate?
- inactive, on 01/28/2008, -1/+12I get a kick out of watching all of the Ron Paul haters scramble to try to get something to slam the good doctor with.
First it was he didn't care about women, but that one went out the window when they discovered he worked in charity hospitals and donated his services as a doctor and as an OB/GYN he would waive his fee if the patient could not afford it. They claim he hates women but he's delivered thousands of babies, and nobody has said anything that would indicate any of his patients had a problem with him.
Then they claimed that he was aginst the civil war and claimed that it was proof he was crazy but anyone who thinks the best way to abolish slavery was to kill 600,000 Americans seems to me to be nuttier than a fruitcake.
Then they trot out some tired crap about the gold standard but that was completely debunked when it was proven that we would be far better off if we had retained the gold standard. While we were on the gold standard wholesale prices remained steady for 140 years. Since we went off the currency has dropped in value more than 90%.
They tried to paint him as a racist but the president of the Austin Texas chapter of the NAACP said he has known Ron Paul for decades and Ron Paul is not a racist.
Oh I get a kick out of them steppin' and fetchin like their heads on fire and asses catchin' because I know the good doctor has it all over the other candidates.
http://knowbeforeyouvote.com/ is a good and fair resource with links to the official positions of the other candidates.
Ron Paul is the only candidate I can find who is on record discussing the economy with Bernanke and Greenspan.
Perhaps some of the haters can find something from the other candidates to prove me wrong?
I won't hold my breath waiting.
- PhatManner, on 01/28/2008, -0/+11Very Interesting...
- Allegiance, on 01/31/2008, -0/+11you're right. Paul's supporters just faked the voting records. ya caught us. (sarcasm)
His voting record is why he has so many supporters. it's proof of his honesty. - doubledoh, on 01/28/2008, -0/+10Yes, it sure was:

Here's another article for further clarification:
http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul57.html - inactive, on 01/28/2008, -0/+9Care to explain how "Adherence to the Constitution" is slanted for Ron Paul? Shouldn't all the candidates hold the Constitution sacred? They're all planning on putting one hand on the Bible and swearing to uphold and defend it. If you represent the mainstream, America is lost.
- zakkubin, on 01/24/2008, -0/+9TyroPyro-
The question: " do you believe in evolution" is actually asking " do you believe in god "
This is why Paul answered, "No"
For the record it is a fact that Micro evolution is true however Macro evolution is a theory in progress. It's not a fact.
Regardless a believe in evolution or not is not important when picking president.Ron Paul knows more than anyone that religious views have no business in politics. Compare him to Mike Huckabee. How many times has Paul said, " we need to amend the constitution to fit god's standard" If this were the case I could see your point.
You really need to do some research about your "issue" you bring up. It's 4 am so I cannot help you...
Well heck here read Paul's stance on "flag burning"
http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul99.html
Min. wage- Why allow Washington to set min. wages for the entire country? stuff generally cost more in the north when compared to the south.
Ok dude just understand this: Paul wants to strip the power of the fed. gov. that are not granted via the consitution. All these powers will be left to the state.
So under paul for ex: your so concerned that he is pro life which he is... But his belief in states rights remains. He would nullify roe vs wade ( constitutionally it's too long to explain)
Then over night every state would determine if they has laws banning or partially banning abortions.
No other canidate promotes this. So if you want Washington to plan everything as a one size fits all for the nation then don't vote for Paul. - butchzzz, on 01/27/2008, -2/+10WOW GREAT RON PAUL MY HERO RULES CHARTS
- ryzor, on 01/24/2008, -0/+8Exactly what the hell does evolution have to do with being the president?
What about his extremely strong showing in something that matters... like i don't know... ECONOMICS? -
