http://www.petitiononline.com/everyman/petition.ht ... - Daemion43, on 08/07/2008, -16/+112This is a great idea. I will get at least two more people to sign...

- rdrioane, on 08/07/2008, -7/+60I swear, if this administration gets away with all of their crimes and anti constitutional actions they have perpetrated we can only blame ourselves for not having the balls to demand accountability
- Jacolyte, on 08/08/2008, -5/+54Impeach him before he can pardon Karl Rove.
k thx - kemp34, on 08/07/2008, -10/+56The only nut around here is you.
Impeachment is not politics you idiot. It is the moral obligation of all righteous representatives. - inactive, on 08/07/2008, -5/+44a great job for Dennis would be chairman of the house judiciary committee...Rove would be in jail by now...
- ljin, on 08/07/2008, -6/+36Long time overdue, great idea.
- digjam, on 08/08/2008, -3/+3210,000+ diggs plz
- jorichter, on 08/08/2008, -5/+31***** Bush
- Habit4ming, on 08/07/2008, -40/+65I like Dennis Kucinich, think he's basically a good guy. However, he needs to review the Constitution, 2nd Amendment, and uphold that as well. Time after time it has been proven that CRIME DECREASES when the citizens are armed. When only criminals have guns....well, you know how that scenario plays out....
I hope those that have not signed the above-mentioned petition, do so... - truthmatters, on 08/08/2008, -5/+29Dennis Kucinich has everything a great leader should have. Intelligence, tenacity, foresight, courage, integrity, compassion, and a global respect for human life and dignity. He could have been one of our greatest presidents. He's one of the few remaining politicians governed by ethics and character, not greed. I admire his dedication to protecting our Constitution, and his relentless pursuit of justice in holding Bush and Cheney accountable for 'high crimes and misdemeanors' as is defined in our Constitution.
- Antimatter3009, on 08/08/2008, -1/+25Wow, something libertarians, neocons, socialists, and pacifists can all agree on. I never thought I'd see the day.
- highlymodified, on 08/08/2008, -4/+26I believe the 2nd Amendment was the first layer of personal defense against tyranny and until recently, has been indispensable for that reason.
However, that said, govenments realized that they don't need violence to suppress us anymore. They don't have to kick in our doors to subjugate us. Just sedate us with consumerism and superfluous media, proliferate propaganda, tap our phones, declare dissenters radicals or terrorist sympathizers, ban any drugs that make people see through it, incarcerate millions at a time to keep everyone in fear of the law. Eventually, they'll start pouring SSRIs in the water if people get too dissatisfied.
The 2nd Amendment failed us, people. The right to free speech, press, and assembly is far more important now in the fight against injustice, and I type that with a heavy heart. I wish I didn't have to pick and choose which liberties we have to sacrifice to remain "as free as possible." - inactive, on 08/08/2008, -2/+24DENNIS: "We cannot step back and let this President escape accountability."
Give 'em hell Dennis! Impeach Bush and Cheney, even if it's on their last day in office! - dracostimpy, on 08/07/2008, -5/+26Pelosi's reply: "That obviously means the other 299,900,000 citizens are against impeachment!"
- beelz, on 08/08/2008, -1/+22I just did.
- krzee, on 08/07/2008, -7/+27100% agreed
When the second amendment is lost, the people will have lost the last thread of protection from their government (discussion from the time shows that is why they made the second amendment).
I am guessing anyone that disagrees with that also has no problem with the recent blackwater mercenary contract to police inside the USA (which violates posse comitatus, even after the recent changes to it from HR 5122... unless you do not count corporate mercenaries that USA hires to fight in the Iraq war as military) . They were even recently used to bust a medical marijuana shop in Los Angeles!
I seriously hope America wakes up soon =/ - joshstone100, on 08/07/2008, -1/+21"Congress has serious things to consider"
Like taking more of our rights away? More spy bill legislation? Another Patriot Act perhaps? Increased police powers? More surveillance on American citizens without probable cause? National ID cards with RFID tracking chips? Offshore drilling to appease oil company bribes? (as they ignore the Strategic Petroleum Reserves which are at near full capacity and pumping oil from Iraq..) - BaseballGuyCAA, on 08/07/2008, -3/+22Signed and Facebooked.
- OneRottenTomato, on 08/08/2008, -4/+23It won't matter to Bush. Just 100,000 more new names to be added to the Terrorist Registry.
- kevinsboy, on 08/08/2008, -1/+17Its sad that in our country we have to impeach the impeachers
- HenryFatass, on 08/08/2008, -9/+24I totally agree! I mean look at what concealed carry has done to keep crime rates in Europe and Japan so low...
More guns is not the answer...and if you think having the right to have a gun strapped to your chest, or an armory in your basement will help you overthrow the government when the time comes, you need to get your head out of your ass.
Sure...it worked great for the colonists...but then again they did have the Atlantic Ocean protecting them in a time before aircraft. Oh...and England not possessing Abrams tanks and nuclear warheads probably had something to do with it too....
Let me apologize in advance for you not being able to digg this comment down twice. - abajaj2280, on 08/08/2008, -3/+18And that's the spirit.

- Oatlord, on 08/08/2008, -0/+13I suggest after election of any president in the future we begin impeachment proceedings the very next day, just to get a head start.
- inactive, on 08/08/2008, -3/+15"The meaning of the phrase "well-regulated" in the 2nd amendment
The phrase "well-regulated" was in common use long before 1789, and remained so for a century thereafter. It referred to the property of something being in proper working order. Something that was well-regulated was calibrated correctly, functioning as expected. Establishing government oversight of the people's arms was not only not the intent in using the phrase in the 2nd amendment, it was precisely to render the government powerless to do so that the founders wrote it."
http://www.constitution.org/cons/wellregu.htm
"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... such laws serve rather to encourage than to prevent homocides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson ('Commonplace Book' 1775)
"The Constitution of most of our states (and of the United States) assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed and that they are entitled to freedom of person, freedom of religion, freedom of property, and freedom of press." - Thomas Jefferson - TecK415, on 08/08/2008, -5/+17Ahh Youtube comment's... Gotta love em-err right...
"Why don't you ***** do something about the goddamn price I pay for gasoline?!? Jesus Christ, nobody gives a ***** about impeaching Bush!! Fix gas or your ass is getting voted the ***** out - mark my words. I just can't believe Democrats are so ***** crazy! Ok, we understand you all have a hardon for impeaching a republican b/c they impeached Clinton. Fix oil you ***** *****. Thanks."
I hope Digg never gets this bad.
EDIT:
Oh crap, look at the comment above mine... The ending has begun. - inactive, on 08/08/2008, -1/+12Amen. It's nice to know that there are at least 2 people in Congress that put their principles above personal profit. Dennis and Ron Paul.
- politicalfan28, on 08/08/2008, -3/+14Post this on every f****** website, blog, forum, email everyone tell your friends, family, Congressman, representatives.
VIRAL VIDEO CALL
REVOLUTION!!!
We did it! - SugarCoatedSalt, on 08/08/2008, -4/+14it seemed I forgot to sign the petition, so I did it right now. Count one more signature in.
- wonderbriefs, on 08/08/2008, -0/+10You obviously didn't watch the video. The efforts won't cease after Bush is out of office. Kucinich wants to have the Bush administration held accountable for their actions no matter how long it takes.
- kemp34, on 08/08/2008, -3/+13Front page digg "wittiness" really does a great job of helping the cause.
Lies, deaths, deception, spying, torture, blacked out rights, unlimited government, what the hey! Here's a zinger! - tj525, on 08/08/2008, -2/+12Signed.
- angryfirelord, on 08/08/2008, -0/+10What the ***** are you talking about? I'm a Republican and I would love to see Dennis Kucinich promoted to a higher form of power. He's one of the very few politicians who actually does his job: defend liberty and the constitution. If you want to talk about low congressional approval ratings, go look at the Pelosi bitch and all of the other conforming politicians who pretty much didn't do anything she said she would on her 2006 election run. (like demand a timetable on Iraq and impeach Bush) Dennis should be the Speaker of the House right now since he actually does what Pelosi said she would do.

- WilliamAdama, on 08/08/2008, -11/+20u guys are idiots, here in Canada none of us carry guns and we have less crime than you. Macleans magazine also did a statistical report and said we're happier, have more sex but with less pregnancies and stds, get a better education, and are wealthier than our neighbours to the south :P
- gittenlucky, on 08/08/2008, -1/+9As an American, I would like to thank you. We need more people like you in this country.
- inactive, on 08/08/2008, -2/+10As rarely as I agree with Kucinich, he's right about this. It's not about removing Bush from power as much as to serve as a warning to future administrations about conducting themselves the way that this one has.
- Xionic, on 08/08/2008, -7/+15Ahhh yes... Canada. What would the world do without your smug sense of superiority?
- shawnsonium, on 08/08/2008, -4/+12Will my petition signature count even though I'm a Canadian living in Canada?
I don't give a ***** that it's not my government. What the Bush administration has done is wrong. - microdude431, on 08/08/2008, -0/+8You like it in the butt? Pretty nasty man...... Not something we needed to know.
- Fiber, on 08/07/2008, -9/+16Well i'm just going to say what we're all thinking..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5c2Vb7CqTdc - bulletmoy, on 08/08/2008, -2/+9At least he has the nuts to risk his job and image on doing whats right, instead of standing back and being a pussy like most politicians
- MizSwann, on 08/08/2008, -0/+7Amen! People like you - with your ideals and your sense of what is right & wrong - are what makes US Americans...very, very few of us are 'native' Americans, as you well know. YOU are what makes US, us....thank you for your Spirit! It is what we are, what we are built on, and what we will become again.
- MizSwann, on 08/08/2008, -2/+9....where you can hide your diary & thereby encourage the future generations of Amerika to revolt, and bring back the Constitution to It's proper place....right before you die of starvation and lack of sanitation, but with your PRIDE & DIGNITY intact! Right next to me and your other friends, aka as Pariotic Americans, in other words....
- nkleffman, on 08/08/2008, -2/+9extremely far from tyranny in every shape and form?
Just how much worse does it have to get? All of your rights have been turned into privledges. You have to get a license, permit, or permission for every activity that you engage in, from traveling to marrying to building a house to starting a business to fishing to bearing arms. For gods sake they have created free speech zones! We have every single plank of the communist mainfesto, and you say we are far from tyranny in every shape and form? Can you tell me the difference between socialism, and democracy, or those from a republic? Do you know the difference between a right and a privledge? Have you ever read the constitution?
The most hopelessly enslaved person is he that falsely believes he is free - and you sir, are a slave. Your chains are the ones that you have put over your own mind. -
