http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Gravel
does an adequate enough job.
Ugg how did that comment get submitted twice, digg down the other one please. - EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The only reason he might not win is everyone saying he might not win. I, for one, am not going to play that game.
He's going to win. Just watch. Better yet, just make it so. - Derrekito, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Gravel is shockingly honest and is unafraid to speak his mind, which in turn may be his downfall for the elections; however the U.S. is in need of more candidates with a set as big as his (male of female).
-Mike Gravel '08! - drouk1556, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The mainstream media would have you know that Mike Gravel is not a person.
- Derrekito, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3He still seems rather articulate these days, albeit the Presidency does seem to age people quicker. At any rate if that is the case, and anything were to ever happen (assuming he wins) I hope the Vis President will be a good backup. No point in making it sound like he bit the bullet just yet.
- Derrekito, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It's one thing to read about him and another to hear him. Also the original post did include that link :). Plus some people seem to have a Wikipedia complex, and refuse to use it because it is viewed as unreliable. Also one should not limit themselves to one source.
- EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1For anyone who supports Ron Paul, all I ask is that we Gravel and Paul supporters (I support both) stick together to get both candidates on the map. After the nominations, do as you will. But for now, we're stronger if every letter campaign or phone call mentions both Gravel and Paul as being unfairly shut out of the process. Make them both be heard. We'll all be better off for it.

I updated the page a bit, so there is more content to see.
cheers. :) - talkenglish, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Gravel is honest, which is definitely something to appreciate, however, he is running a race he knows he is not going to win. Although he is getting his message heard through mainstream media outlets via the debates, his efforts to show an American audience how honest politics can work will never permanently embedded into the mental apparatuses of the common American citizen who sits on his/her ass and watches television. Gravel is awsome, don't get me wrong, but in the day and age of our insidious shallow culture his presence, face, and speech will never hold ground to perpetuate any form of change.
- lutschdran, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0He's honest and good and all that, but he's also going to be 78 years old come next year, and would become the oldest president in history
- cyberpope, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1digg down please
